Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

One of the most cringe things I've ever experienced.

    State of him.

if its got nothing to do with baking, magpies, garden birds or his own family, Ray wont go out of his comfort zone.

I think he should resign out of protest. Seems like the own right and moral solution to the injustice of this situation.

I tuned in at one stage and heard him describing himself as a "Privileged white middle aged man" and almost apologising to an African woman for it.

Gob****e almost apologising to a liar and a fake. Was called out during her failed bid for election. Sunday Times printed story about her time living in England. Was rightly refused asylum there. Was told by those in the know that “Ireland Would be a much better fit”. They knew Ireland was soft touch. Went home and flew into Ireland with her lies. She’s here ever since. Caused a rift in the social dems. or whatever they call themselves .Between the woke members and the pragmatic ones who realised they were proposing a liar and an asylum shopper.Does the farcy show not have any researchers . I mean fawning over and giving oxygen to this fake.

I mean, the only way to get in is to be the child of an RTE employee, so it'll remain that way unless one of Joe Duffy's triplets marries a black man

I can think of 3 black people that worked in front of camera off the top of my head.
Zainab Boladale, Kamal Ibrahim, Liz Bonnin.
There are probably others behind the scenes as well so he shouldn't feel so bad about his white previlege, but that wouldn't get him any virtue signalling points.

He mentioned again today about his white male previlege and that he wouldn't know what its like for women having to listen female voices on smart speakers (Males speaking down to/giving orders to women)

That is the thing.. For all their wokeness and I include all those in Rte and elsewhere preaching daily about inclusivity that if little Sorcha or Ryan met some coloured person or God forbid a Traveller without prospects from the wrong side of the tracks and arrived home an said Mum I really Love him/her an we want to get married I bet my bottom dollar Sorcha or Ryan would be shipped off on an extended holiday somewhere quicker than one would say we'reallequalbutsomemorethanothers

I had to laugh, like what's he using a record player from the 1950's or something.

It's constant with him. is there not a producer or whatever there that pushes the buttons?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 25,420 ✭✭✭✭sligojoek

    Let me guess.

    Ray cried watching the show

Is the All Ireland Quiz still going on or is it just we couldn't think of anything else, it worked (or at least people rang in anyway; let's ignore the actual listening audience...) and so we'll rehash it within weeks or it ending its first run?

Carlow v Cavan today; Larry Gogan must be turning in his grave with Ray doing something like this, while the Just a Minute Quiz didn't pit county v county it was done on a county basis so you might have Carlow one hour, Cork next etc. & actually at the end of the week or month the highest scorers went on air during his 12 Noon to 3pm programme to win the weekly/monthly prize.

    You are correct,Sir.

I didn't hear it today but let me guess.

Ray, again, spent half an hour telling somebody that their best selling album is fantastic. Like he really needs the advertising.

Meanwhile plenty of decent musicians around the country can't get within an asses roar of an RTE interview.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 17,678 ✭✭✭✭fritzelly

    Ray interviewing

Hmmm. Uhhmm. Yeah. Uhmm. Hmmm. Hmmm. Hmmm. Uhmmm. Yeah. Some stupid question
    Repeat

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 25,420 ✭✭✭✭sligojoek

If I was to take a shot every time one of them said " little" I'd be pissed now.

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,796 ✭✭✭Red Fred

The WORLD EXCLUSIVE of the HSE advert about wearing masks will be aired later in the show . . . but only if Ray manages to press the right button.

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,775 ✭✭✭bmorrissey

Whats he blaming him messing up on today? his mouse? the set up?...the magpies maybe??

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 9,262 ✭✭✭shearforce

I was in RTE a couple of years ago and got a pic of the studio...very confusing in fairness to Ray.
