Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Ok, on reading their website it appears they're deliberately made that way for hiking etc.

Never really noticed that they sit low on the waist tbh, there's a belt strap on them, not ideal but that could be a work around.

The kiwi pro have less elasticity in the waist if they'll swap.

Might have to swap mine for bigger waist (I swear lockdown wasnt that bad to me). Think the low waist doesnt suit...I'll stick with that excuse

Are the both the Stefan and Kiwi fleeced lined? Suitable only for winter golf or would they be ok all year round?

Iirc there are different versions of each, I.e there's the Stefan waterproof and then there's the Stefan cold weather, same for Kiwi and Kiwi Pro... all the details are on their site.

Praying for some rain now to test them out!!! :)

Got the rain today!!! Kiwi Pro Waterproof passed the west of Ireland test with flying colours, there was a cold wind and they held up very well on the front too.

Also purchased a new waterproof top from Island Green for €40 last week, fully waterproof but a bit restricted in the swing. I'll give it another go with a layer less next time.
    https://www.amazon.co.uk/Island-Green-IGJKT1723-Waterproof-Breathable/dp/B076F5Z45V?th=1&psc=1

€90 for a waterproof suit, they'll certainly do the job and imo look better than some of the low-mid range waterproofs out there.

(I'm not a complete miser, have a pair of ecco shoes on the way to complete the winter set)

Tried out my kiwi trousers today, they passed the test with flying colours. Few people commented on them, saying they looked well. Kudos to the op.ðŸ‘

I bought the lighter kiwi trousers today in blanch

    Tried them on feel comfortable.

Will see how they get on before buying other the heavier pair with internal lining.

Is there a jacket to match trousers?
    Didn't see one in store

For those who have invested in the Kiwi Pro or Stefan trousers and have got delivery would you be inclined to go for your typical fit in ordinary trousers or go a size up?.....I would be an awkward waist at mo as 33 but intend on losing the Covid pounds sooner rather than later, would people who have bought the trousers be inclined to go for a 34 r or 32 r in my case.

    Thanks for any replies.

For the Stefan I'd go with the bigger size if in any doubt.

I bought the Stefan but sent them back. The waist is really low set which I hate but they felt really nice and would have loved to have kept them otherwise.

I reckon you should go for 34, you can wear a belt with them or else fold over the waist. I'd be a similar awkward size with pants but 34 was fine for me.

    I'm probably about 33-34 too.
They are elasticated. I found the 34 very slightly loose on my waist. But not terrible. I may wear a little belt with them next time. I found the leg slightly short on me, but not bad enough to return.

Jeez. My missus thought I was having a turn laughing at this! :)

I thought the Craghoppers were a little off track for golf so I thought I'd push it! :)

    Not that size.

Ended up getting one on Halpenny Golf

Will be interested how you get on - love underamour - but found there outdoor stuff not up to the Irish conditions - next time I'll be going European for wet gear. Don't think the yanks understand what we play in.

Wore the Kiwi Pro for the first time in Corballis yesterday. Hard to tell as it was a glorious day and I had prepped for much colder weather by wearing leggings underneath so was roasted. Only thing I would say against them is the pockets are a little tight for constantly taking out scorecard, marker, phone, tees etc. But they aren't designed for golf so fair enough.

I wore mine Sunday. Freezeing cold and was happy out with them. Agree on the pockets though. They are a bit of a pain taking tees and pitch repairer out.

Anyone know where I could get decent golf trousers with a 36 inch long leg? I am very tall (6'7) and finding it impossible.

Best American based golf gear website? Recipient is in the States so better off ordering from an american website and shipping to his address.
