Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Add in Rachael McCracken in Wildcat, she's put some serious bits out lately in watercolours, she's brilliant!

Well it is Boba Fett. Not too sure about the Princess Bride though :p

The script is in reference to this:

LOL, I was thinking of the same lines from the Princess Bride. Similar scene as Vader & Fett, it has to be said!! :D

Of course, Wesley promising to do anything for true love is exactly the same as Boba Fett saying, yeah sure boss, you've paid me a lot of money, I'll do whatever you say :D

Thanks, the other one he did that day won best small colour I heard but I was too busy watching the match to enter. Sickened :pac:

I saw you getting done on Saturday, fewtins. Didn't see the end piece in person, but it looks fantastic.

The thought that stuck in my mind when I first saw the design was 'Is that Colonel Gentleman from The Venture Brothers?' :pac:

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,971 ✭✭✭Orim

    He's done :D

That is fantastic. Still can't get over much detail was put into it. Congratulations, you must be very proud :pac:

He's pretty snazzy alright, so happy to be finished! The little quote was a last minute decision :P Also decided that when I get enough money I will be continuing on the theme and having a whole alice in wonderland piece on that leg :)

I've always wanted the Jabberwock myself! :D

I think he might be a bit much for me :P I'm thinking Cheshire Cat on my calf, then maybe the dormouse and absolum, and lots of psychadelic looking flowers and mushrooms in the background.. And maybe a bandersnatch and a hat :D

Pixie Fairy I'm not normally a fan of Harry Potter tattoos (nothing wrong with them, just not my cup of tea) but I think that's beautiful. I do love Snape though so there's some bias there. :D

Christine Tobin, she's recently moved to Freedom ink in Ennis :)

I've always wanted the Jabberwock myself! :D

Was thinking that too. I love that poem, I tell it to my kids when they are going to sleep. The original John Tenniel illustration of the Jabberwock is quite sinister looking. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:TheJabberwocky.jpg

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 30,123 ✭✭✭✭Star Lord

Yup, that's the one! Have it in a book I've had since I was a kid, the complete works of Lewis Carroll. I've drawn it a few times myself too, and know the poem too. :D

Overall happy enough with it considering its the largest Ive done to date.

Looks fantastic, out of curiosity is it not fairly awkward tattooing yourself?

    Well put it this way.

Your brain is saying stop but you have to keep going.
Id actually say its harder to tattoo yourself then it is someone else as if your tattooing someone else you don't have that conflict in your head.

Its kinda strange and its something that you have to get your head around.

Yeah I get you. I kinda have the same (albeit on a much smaller scale) when I have to inject insulin

Its a mashup between my love of cats and Sherlock Holmes - it will be quite dark and moody. It works fantastic in my head but I can't draw for sh1t but I think the artist has it nailed.

Ah I was there from 2007-2009 (with a 6 month stint of maternity leave in between!), we got loads of nights out and parties, Christmas parties were amazing... and the Christmas hampers... the size of the ham I got in those the times I got it would have done for 6 months after Christmas!

It was bad enough when I was there too, the only perk of the job was the nights out... the abuse off some customers was amazing.
