Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

That's strange, none of my orders have ever gone through Shannon

My order is going through Shannon, which I found strange as I live just outside Dublin. Hope someone in the Limerick area isn't gonna get a surprise new mug.

I ordered a jacket on Sunday , delivery to Dublin...... DHL tracking shows it is also going via shannon. Delivery charge £1 or € 1 not sure. I expect it to take 4 days.

Also noticed that on some items if you change the currency from sterling to euros then £4.99 becomes €4.99.

    Instant saving.

For people getting funny sizes in their order I.E medium looks like xl.
We used to travel to sports direct in Belfast a few time a year to get stuff for the kids and me. The items are usually last seasons stock, slightly imperfect or mis labelled. I would say 98% of the stock is ok but you will find a few bogies.

Quiet a few items in a recent order we received from Sports Direct had stains on them even though they were sealed in plastic bags, so I'd agree that some items are slightly imperfect

Collected my Lonsdale Hoody today (great quality for €14) and got a big mug you could use as a flower pot.

My stuff is in Gatwick at the moment, and the destination is Shannon, apparently. Seems a bit odd. Wonder will it make it to me before the bank holiday weekend shutdown!

One parcel arrived yesterday, hopeful a second one will arrive today (tracking looking good so far). They have insanely good prices in some of the top ten gear. My credit card must feel so used right now.....

Bought a pair of Adidas Samba plus a number of other items (thsirts and boxers) for 50 euros with delivery. Very good value. Samba trainers alone retail at about 65 in any bricks and mortar irish store.

If delivery time is good will certainly use again.

better still only €1 for delivery but make sure to change currency at top of page before going to checkout otherwise you will get charged £4.95 delivery.

I have generally found with trainers I am always a size larger than with shoes.

Why not pick out a pair, head down to Elverys or some such store and try on same size of that brand for peace of mind, before clicking pay.

Like a f**king plank I ordered a 'pre order' item unknowingly (watching tv at the same time) and now my order wont be dispatched till June!! I've emailed stating the problem and asking whether there is any chance I could cancel the preorder item.

Anyone else had a similar experience and if so how did you fair out?

Jesus I feel like a knob!

Got my 2nd order yesterday. Delivery only takes 4 days each time and still only a euro. It even stays a euro for big bulky items. We were messing around and put a pool table and a football table in the cart and still only a euro delivery. I scrapped the order and put in my 3rd order. All clearance items. I've now got all birthdays sorted to Sept and hubbies xmas pressie too. I'm one happy grandma.:D:D:D:D

I know they are big mugs, but they are taking the piss with the size of the box..

I'll need a seperate press for the mugs at this stage, they are handy for putting beer into, too big for tea.

I did the same a couple of weeks ago. Pre order was due in mid march. When I looked at status of order later in week it showed pre order item due in June! So I emailed them and they cancelled pre order item and shipped rest of order. I would steer clear of pre order items.

I ordered a load of stuff yesterday. Went in store today just to compare prices. A jacket id ordered for 17 euro was priced at 30 euro over here.

    Hi guys,

Just wondering if anyone has ordered any Slazenger hoodies.

I was reading a few reviews and people were saying there were problems with sizes and such.
For example, people were saying that medium(my size) hoodies were somewhat short-sleeved than normal and colour not exactly matching the picture.

So, has anyone had any problems with these hoodies?

    Thanks guys

How are people finding the the fit compared to the size of the item they ordered?

I usually take an XL in tops, shirts etc but it all depends on the brand. Is this the case with ordering clothes from sportsdirect?

not to be smart but if you took 20seconds to look back over the last 2 pages you'd know.

If you order on a friday its usually here by wednesday for example

    Hey,

I bought a couple of zipped Slazenger hoodies on there a few months back. The L is more like XL. The quality is fine though and it matched the colour too.
