Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

OK folks, the utter futility of this is now swamping my brain, but we have all our answers in :p

We have six different options for Santa to try...

    Photo-2019-12-23-02-06-07-PM.jpg

But which will sheep? Scores to follow...

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 11,397 ✭✭✭✭Electric Nitwit

I'm sure Santa's looking to forward to visiting you all after seeing these...
What even day is it? I'm doing this on the fly in the alcohol section of Sainsburys while I buy my wine before I head home for Christmas
    (EN: it's 08:16 :pac:)
Do the Reindeer count? Should I pick a drink?
F**ked if I know, something imaginary because
    he's not real...
Saw the question last night, slept on it to decide which to go for... Still have no idea
omg, i have no idea, we didn't leave anything for him when I was a kid!!

so google tells me cookies, milk, mince pies.....blah blah blah.
    do they leave guinness?
    Love the friends gif!

Cookie, now you can punch him
I should say whiskey here but some lunatics probably leave out milk. Mince pie might sheep but fcuk mince pies, they're rank
my Santa prefers a whiskey but the kids insisted he had milk because her shouldn't drink and drive his sleigh
Guinness! Or at least that's what we always left out. Not that I condone drinking and driving.
Nearly answered carrots but they're not for Santa!
Mince pies (which he doesn’t eat because they are gick)
Mince Pie. Although I don't know what Santa did to deserve that. Should we not leave something edible out for him?
If this is an ace, just know that you've RUINED my Christmas. :p
Now is there a cultural divide between north and south Santa? Choice of Tayto for example???

Milk has to sheep, cookie second, and a carrot third...you can close the question now and just base the points on that amazing foresight

I was going to say milk but went for cookie instead. - did I make a big mistake?

Yeah, the competition has been a lot more fun since I've realised there's no chance of me getting a podium position, and that there's very little danger of me coming bottom of the pack, safe in the knowledge I can give whatever answer I like and there's little to no repercussions...

It's fun watching all these sober losers fight over Cookies, Milk, and Mince Pies desperately grabbing at whatever points they can manage, while myself, BuileBeag, and Necro are getting in to the real spirit of Christmas with alcohol and fun. :D

One last time - OK folks, time's up!

A lot more answers than I'd anticipated here, we had...

    Photo-2019-12-24-02-57-21-PM.jpg

There were two answers heading up the pack though, find out which in a moment (just in from visiting neighbours so a little disorganised, I'm not dragging this out deliberately!)

One last advent breakdown for your all :p
This has been great fun EN, thank you for running it, you've done an amazing job...

That said, you're an absolute prick for coming up with this question :D

I've thought of loads, and all seem as unlikely as the next
    Last one :(

thank fekk, can give my brain a rest.
Mixed feelings about this question. It's the last so I'm sad becuase it all ends with this one. But, sliding down that table has been torturous so finally hitting where I land will be a relief.
Flipping hell EN!!! I don't know, I assume people go to bed so that Santa stops by!?!
Been racking my brain all day and honestly this is so so hard!
In true Advent Sheep style you sign off with a bang...I don't know what I'm going to get worked up about in the mornings now once this is gone.
...shopping? Wrapping? Drinking? Baking? Collecting the turkey?
Oh dear, was hoping for a strong finish but I'm gonna ace this one. :( Our family's Christmas Eve tradition is ordering a Chinese but I don't think that will sheep here.

Last minute shopping? Christmas Eve mass? Put food out for Santa? Light Christmas candles? Ugh.....
Probably go to mass, wrap presents, last minute shopping, or drink...
There's a very obvious sheep for this one and anyone who doesn't give this answer has failed to understand the most important part of Christmas... Yippee-ki-yay Motherf**kers!!! My Xmas Eve Tradition is Watching Die Hard
Tempted to just right out state 'Get smashed drunk and fall asleep under the Christmas tree'

BUT THAT WAS ONLY ONE TIME!!
Every year I say I should do this. Every year, I don’t :D

    Go to mass
One last agonising decision. Do we go with hanging stockings, the ham sangwitch, the washing of the windows, midnight mass, wrapping santa presents, a Bailey's at bedtime, the neighbours party, dash to M & S for a reduced price fancy dessert??

I'm nowhere near winning but still competitive til the end....
