PS4 only allows pre-loading up to 2 days before the game's release date (so Sept 22nd) and hasn't accounted for EA Access. So basically PS4 players won't be able to start downloading the game until EA Access is out.

Official EA accounts have said it'll be available at 8pm our time, which in a lot of countries is past midnight so they're playing a little loose saying the release date is the 19th.

No, once Access is released you will be able to download it on PS4, you just can't pre-load it in anticipation of its release.

Always a weird time starting FIFA as I usually wait to get the Supervalu deal or pick up some for half the price on adverts etc. The rampant pay2win and additional advantages that people get by paying for it really are quite annoying.

Am I alone that feels that having packs only purchaseable by coins would make it a more rewarding game?

Doesn't show up on the Access app for me either, I just went to the Fifa 20 store page and there's a "Download Trial" button there.

I assume downloading it now will save us time when the game is out for digital buyers anyway...

Also probably that's why it is out a bit earlier than 6 so at least we can trial it before the midnight.

I don't know if I am doing something wrong, but no sign of it on my account. Just NHL and Madden available. Am I missing something???

Now I get it. You just go to the store and download trial.

Not the best way, but never had ea access and was expecting it to show in the EA hub.

It shows on the hub for me, still directs you to the store page anyways.

Didn't on mine, but got it through the store and then it showed up.

For me there was separate button with download trial in store.

Not sure if this helpful as you Xbox guys know better where it should be...

The Xbox store is broken.

Some are saying go through the EA Access app but that’s trying to force an install.

Seems having it preloaded is causing some issues

IIRC, it wasn't. I'm like 90% sure you could, once you bought them on the console. I'm pretty sure its what I did last year, and there was definitly an option to buy with coins or points.

Don't sell them just open the packs and send them straight to the transfer list or club and sort them out later on the web app.

Sorry, I misread it as could not buy. Yes we could use fifa points on the app, however I never had that luxury on the ps4 to have them prior to official launch.

Wasted 7 minutes in the intro game... That 10 hours is getting shorter every minute

You dont even have to play it the first time, pause it and exit the match.

I've been buying 85/86 players while they're 5/6k. They'll be 15k minimum hopefully this time next week. Jose Morales is an absolute monster for anyone looking for an ST.

Spent 20 on points for packs, best I got was a Chiellini. Few premiership players but the likes of Madison, Foden, Ake..then the rest just complete fodder for quick sale or low coins.

Yeah the rest I can sell for a few coins or quick sell the scrap so I did alright out of it. Will keep an eye on Chiellini and see how his price goes before I offload him.

Leaning towards a Dutch team, currently.

IF Malen being near discard right now makes him look super risk free. If I do well with packs, I might treat myself to Memphis too.

But Zieych for under 5k looks a fun player.

The bigger players for the starter squads are rising so fast as people gain coins, Werner was 21k around 6pm, I got him around 7 for 27k, he’s 37k now. I reckon he’ll hit about 60/70k for first weekend league, especially if sancho potm is reasonably priced
