    Hi,
I'm looking for some advice please. Do any of you know if all siblings in the family have to be in agreement for a family member to become a care representative?

Not as such. If your parent has capacity to make the decision it is 100% their choice.

If your parent does not have capacity, it should be decided amongst the siblings with due regard to any living will or such document that your parent named one of you as their official NOK.

Worst case scenario if you cannot agree and there are important decisions to be made then the state can apply for the person to become a ward of court and essentially take on the NOK role. This would be last resort

If you and your family are having difficulties deciding then I would recommend family mediation.
