Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Non farming related but ye are a very resourceful bunch! Any of ye able to watch bbc Iplayer in Ireland? Do you need to pay for a vpn?

I don't know how tech savie you are but, I use 'UFO Vpn basic' app on my phone. Set location to London UK and I can watch it on the phone or cast it from the phone to the TV ( you'd need a smart TV or chromecast to cast it).

I opened my first aid kit in the dairy this evening as I needed a bandage for one of the kids. Now it's probably the first time it has been opened in about 3 years. It was half full of water and about 10 slugs in it. Imagine opening it in front of the bord bia inspector :)

There's out of date stamps on bandages etc too

Hateful feckers but apparently nice to wear although I never had the luxury. If there is one then there are probably more in your area so keep vigilant. I would suggest getting electric poultry fencing to surround the hen house/run.

Was there/Is there a thread here about nature on the farm photos? I thought there had been but can't find it in search.

Still can't find one, was sure there was one. Anyhew, this hear is a mighty beastie, the size of my ring finger & found on my front street this morning. Relocated to a fuchsia bush but scared the crap out of me until I knew what it was. An Elephant Hawk moth caterpillar. A beautiful blend of ick & amazing.

Maybe start up a new thread?

I think there was one of the monthly photo comps had a nature theme?
There was also a "what's growing on your ditch?" thread a long time ago.

It might lighten the mood around here from all this point scoring.

Tbh, whether it goes ahead again or not is the first part of the discussion.

It will be morning I'd say at the earliest after looking at it now.

i assume what you call a hairy horse is what we call a hairy molly? Black thing with hairs in it? Haven’t seen one in years now that I think of it.

    Where is the protest thread?

Got served an injunction. There will round table talks, in (maybe) three days, with all sides involved. We've called in Minister Creed to arbitrate.......

Thread was compulsive reading. Hope it comes back soon. Got yellow card for thinking some posts were the work of trolls. That prob fair enough but the posts were so annoying. Cant stand provocative posts.

We all agreed to follow the rules of the site when we joined up. The generalised rule is attack the post, not the poster. It really is that simple.

We're getting through the last few pages of the thread and it will be opened again in the morning when, hopefully, tempers will have cooled somewhat before posting behind again.

No injunction, we all have other things going on this evening so we'll get it sorted by morning.

Looks like 40 fags a day and a feed of pints would be healthier then eating them ole vegan burgers, you won’t see it reported in the mainstream media though

Reading some interesting twitter threads there following the U.K. government plea with people not to be stockpiling food in advance of Brexit.

People are not reassured at being told they will have the food they “need”

60 days now, I still somehow can’t see it, 24 hours is a long time in politics never mind 60 days.
