Think EVs over €40k in Germany get a €5000 grant so presumably it's €48,880 before incentives.

EDIT: Looks I was wrong, pulled this from their German website.

    Cash price
    € 43,880
Incl. VAT of approx. € 6,052
    Processing fees of 980 €
Incl. 3,000 € environmental bonus (net)

You get another 6, 3k is the manufacturer’s share, so 9 in total

Yeah so if you look on the German site it says this.

Order every Model 3 with an environmental bonus of € 9,000

So is this a cheaper price than it was before ?

If it is and we get what now after budget, what can we expect if we also get the LiFeP04 battery?

Looks like the base price hasn't change in Germany.

How come it's 42.5K though that's a good bit cheaper than here, is it the VAT ?

Any plans for any more garages in Ireland

A tyre change in these machines can be an ordeal outside the pale

As somebody who is considering getting one of these may I ask why?
Do they have a spare or a can of foam?

58k for performance and 52k for long range on the German page

The real price is in the bottom left corner. Those prices don’t include the usual garage fees, delivery etc.

    Tyre change is straight forward.
I’ve had mine done at some garages and 2 patched and plugged also.

There's nothing special about the wheels or tyres bar a foam ring for road noise reduction which doesn't affect maintenance.

You can get them changed anywhere. You don't have to go to Audi to get Audi tyres changed.

I Know people are gonna bitch but I bought a tyre plug kit for mine. I have used them on motorcycles and cars 3 or 4 times and when installed correctly they haves stayed safely in the tyre for it's remaining life with no issues

Looks like the LiFeP04 M3 is coming to Europe. Hopefully with the price cut.

Excuse my ignorance, but is this considered to be a better/worse battery?

    It's a mixed bag.

One interesting thing I read about the Tesla
LFP batteries is they recommend charging to 100% at least once a week

LiFeP04 offers twice the life and more over most other Li batteries. However, it remains to be seen how Tesla manage heat with fast charging which will impact cell life if allowed to get too hot in order to be able to charge at 170 odd Kw that's if the new battery can take it.

Uses no Cobalt which makes it greener.

Very safe, will not catch fire.

But it's less energy dense, LiFeP04 energy density has improved but Tesla had to choose a less energy dense cell for more power density to allow faster acceleration and fast charging tesla owners are used to.

It's larger and heavier but the link below explains how they can make up for this.

Are you planning on taking the early delivery ?

At the earliest it won't be here until late November. They are just loading the first ship bound for Europe today. The ETA is for the ship to reach Southampton on Nov 12th. Add two days to offload a few more to get to Dublin.

Tesla Sweden confirmed to a customer that long-range and performance Models 3's would come with a heat pump.

So possibly no heat pump in the coming SR+ . :(

Sorry I don't have a car that I can take apart yet :D but the same sources that told us some time back of the changes to battery, centre console and chrome delete said the HP was coming too so I presume we'll find out for sure in a few weeks or even less.
