Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    I have a real hankering for a Sinn 103, or a 756.

Hopefully not too unobtainable sometime in the future!

I would very much like a Breitling B1

    But also

    An Omega Moonwatch:

TBH within my very meagre budget I've kinda covered the bases at the moment, though if more moola were in play, I'd love...

    Omega Marine Chronometer

    Omega-Marine-Chronometer-watch-7.jpg

    A Zenith Cairelli

    Zenith_A_Cairelli_Chronograph_AS01617_2_grande.jpg?v=1471967837

Though I have a Heuer Bund so would be in two minds TBH.

    Longines Nonius Flyback

    Web_P1280243.jpg

    Longines Czech pilot

    rx0638.jpg

And I had one, an early one too. Dumbest sale I ever made. :(:o

Mad rare and IMH blows similar Pateks out of the water.

Mine keeps changing, but I think it's a Rolex Explorer II in black, a Tissot Squelette and a Tudor North Flag.

    1. Rolex Sea Dweller
    2. Glashutte Original Sixties
    3. AP Royal Oak
    4. JLC Navy Seal
    5. Any McGonigle watch!

That is it. Not getting all Patek yet, maybe as I get older.

    IWC Big Pilot
    IWC Portugieser Chronograph
    Panerai Radiomir
    Zenith El Primero
    Moser & Cie

I currently rock a Tag Heuer Monaco, IWC Aquatimer Chrono, G-Shock & a couple of Tissots... I don't want to be a collector, just someone with some nice watches that I enjoy... I have no interest in flipping watches.

    417295.jpg

Looks like I need something with a bracelet strap in there too... will have to think about that one.

With the exception of the Bauhaus style watches, my tastes are all over the map. I've gone from Fliegers to Divers, to vintage Rolex.. even G shocks with the most garish of designs. Fortunately my (lack of) funding means I've plenty of time to dial into something more concrete.

I constantly come back to the Zenith Big Date Pilot.
    5430_album.jpg

Always dismissed Rolex. Memories of 80s Arseholes and old Fellas with Bi-metals poisoned my image of the brand. But I have to say their vintage stuff is lovely. There's a balance that has been lost with the newer larger designs, particularly the maxi case subs. I can even get past the cyclops now. I'd love a grey dialed date just.

    bs-w-213-rolex-1603-grey-dial-05.jpg

Also, the Oytersquartz keep grabbing my attention...
    D20_2257.jpg

Although If you put a gun to my head now it'd probably be a polar explorer 2.

Picking up a 5610 G Shock has me looking at some stuff I'd always dismissed as gaudy and cartoonish. Keep staring at these..

I've had a hankering for a few different watches, that then faded, but a constant one had been for the max bill chronoscope (and despite my also declaring elsewhere I wouldn't buy more mechanical watches!)

    11JUL10023.jpg

Junghans new-ish Meister Pilot is probably my most up to date fancy...

    P1120882_zpsjaqqjd0s.jpg

A Meistersinger would be the third on my list then. I'm not completely settled on exactly which model though, but it will inevitably be something like this

If I stick to the achievable, and skip MB&F, Urwerk and others that I'll never be able to afford, then these 3 are in my sights at the moment. All pretty high RRP, but the more interesting stuff always sinks like a stone, so all are possible at under €5k used.

While definitely not everyone's cup of tea, I would love one of the special edition BRM chronos, something like the Gulf T12:

I've just pulled the trigger on a Stowa Marine Classic w/ Date.

If I'm not buried under the patio shortly after it arrives, I'll post pics.

I've wanted one for about 4 yrs now, and finally did the deed.

I'm thrilled at the though of finally owning a watch that has wooed me for some time.

(I'm also fairly sure that the Mrs will flip her lid - hence the patio reference!)

I have to say I find the larger Rolex divers to much more proportionate than the 6 digit Subs and GMTs. The lugs just look ridiculous on them and ruin a classic design for me. Things do seem to be moving the right direction though. The Seadweller, although larger, looks great. The daydate 40 and datejust 41 are an improvement on the previous bloat. Unfortunately I can't see them introducing a more slimmed down maxi case any time soon.

I dunno what it is with me and god knows there are more than a few 'its" with me, but I just can't deal with Mercedes hands. There, I've said it. The dislike that dare not speak its name. :D

My fave Rolex(sport models anyway) would be the issued Rolex MilSub.

    MILSUB-GEAR-PATROL-AMBIANCE-11-650x500.jpg

And if my ship came in would be about the only Rolex I'd jump at* For me it looks sooooo much better with the Omega hands(and fully graduated bezel). I'd add that to my Wishlist alright.

Top of my list would have to be this:

    _img.png?ixlib=rails-1.1.0&auto=format&ch=Width%2CDPR%2CSave-Data&fit=crop&fm=jpg&q=55&usm=12&w=700&

The last one of these went for $150,000 at auction so it's going to take one hell of a fleamarket find to get near it. A blue-dial Oysterquartz is more achievable.

    IMG_8435.JPG?format=750w

I'd also like a PP 3580 but it would have to be a blue-dial on a bracelet and without the ball-pein hammer finish and I'm not even sure that they made one of those.
