Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    the demographics been similar too

Slane and The Cure been on the same day was also a bit of a cock up

With the way ticket prices are gone and the closeness of most gigs its impossible too see them all if ur a fan of whos playing
Def Leppard could easily do the RDS in their own right. They're a bit too big to be playing with Bon Jovi unless it's a double header.

Not anymore seen them put on a great show last year in 3 Arena and there was plenty of empty seats around me

The setlists Bon Jovi have been playing on this tour are very strong ,nearly all of the hits.

MCD seem to think June is the only month that they can have outdoor concerts in the Summer .
Do they close down for July and August or something ??
I know they are constrained somewhat with bands touring schedules but putting on 3 different acts in the space of 6 days is idiotic .

It's great business, If they can sell out 4 gigs and get away with only having to pay the setup and tear down once, then why wouldn't they?

Which is good and bad but the bad being they are not playing many songs of this house album which the tour is supposed to be. They have so many good songs that they don’t play.

Asked on the Fleetwood Mac thread what drinks are in the RDS

Rockshore, Guinness, bulmers, wine, prosecco & I think a Gordon's pre mixed can

Anyone know do they still flog the dodgy t-shirts outside concerts? Didn't see any at the last few shows I was at

I sincerely hope the Manics channel their early 90s pomp and play a short set heavy in first 3 albums.

    Enjoy everyone

Mr Jon Bon is rocking into town! Cannot wait to see him perform again in Dublin....

We'll be living on a prayer cos we gotta keep the faith otherwise we might get lost on a highway or a runaway always. Remember Jon Bon you can lay your hands on me on a bed of roses.

I just read umbrellas are not permitted (although was planning on standing at the back!). I don't go to outdoor gigs much :). Do they sell ponchos at RDS does anyone know? Thanks in advance.

It's OK in ballsbridge right now, but I'd be bringing my waterproofs!

I have two standing tickets for the gig tomorrow night if anyone would like them as I can no longer attend. I'd prefer them to go to a genuine fan!

If they do, and someone has a ticket to offload tomorrow can I please have it. I'll sing along to bon Jovi grand, but the Manics I'd sing louder than most

All the pubs in Ballsbridge will be jammers.
Ranleagh/Baggot Street and a short(ish) stroll from there might be a better bet, at least there are a good few decent pubs.

That seat should have been sold as restricted view .
I'd go wandering if I were you ,should be a good few empty seats up near the stage.

Is the pitch cut in half because of different standing tickets?
