    “No recession in their house”

    Doesn’t exist anymore but there was a time this was widespread. I flagged a taxi once at a bus stop and old biddies said that about me.

    Thankfully this one died out

    The word 'Basically' being used at the beginning of almost each sentence.

    The use of the 'Yeah?' or 'Awright?' t the end of sentences.:mad::mad:

    “We are where we are”
    “Going forward ...”

    Remember my brother telling me: anything before “but” is BS (apologies for the bad language!) It has proven quite accurate, e.g “I like your dress but, maybe you should go for a different colour”
