Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

This is reminiscent of the soccer game. England are just operating on the next level. They're able to hit ball carriers with two tacklers extremely fast and compete at the breakdown without getting stretched.

Ireland are fighting an uphill battle.

There isn't one Irish player who is better than his opposite number.

Keenan never should have gotten that ball. Shouldn't have been anywhere near it

Keenan as first man out, Healy with an awful attempt at a clean out!did nothing.

Great from Earls, feck what followed.

    Complete bullsh*t penalty call.

There isn’t a chance in hell that the English player who shot up to Keenan initially was onside there.

We aren't. We're putting a lot if pressure on England and they're conceding penalties. It's wet piece issues that's killing us. For instance that was a tremendously encouraging piece of multi phase play. It sucked in defender after defender and eventually led to the break. We just can't convert.

Vunipola never released either. French ref, free for all at breakdown. We've got to get in on the action

    Itoje the complete player

It's a pity he's got a horrible (on pitch) character. It makes it hard to like him.

Murray would be killing us here if he was playing. Gibson park much improving our play

A new low for the forum - criticising a player who isn’t playing when we are 12-0 down. Unbelievable.

Was that not just Keenan operating as an alternate 1st receiver? Not sure it's the biggest crime..

Do we have any feet left to shoot?

  • Moderators, Arts Moderators Posts: 35,498 Mod ✭✭✭✭pickarooney

Way, way too easy for England. No way to get through that defence just by running into them.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 8,617 ✭✭✭lawrencesummers

Interesting to watch back and see was it accident or design that had earls in the middle and bundee on the wing in the phase that led to earls making the break.

NONE OF THE ENGLISH PLAYERS WERE ON THEIR FEET.

Yeah, we're not playing well but that was a shocking decision.

  • Registered Users Posts: 2,098 ✭✭✭UAEguy2020

To have any remote chance here we HAVE to score next.

It was rubbish phase play. It took a moment of magic from Earls.

17 phases for no gain. We were getting smashed in every tackle.

We can complain all day about Ireland but the reality is that England have the best pack in the world and we don't.

There is a persistent question now to me about how our forwards are coached. Going on a year now despite changes on the pitch.

He's not having a mare... but taking the wrong option quite a bit and getting hammered

Commentator is an idiot, blaming Kelleher for English players contesting the ball

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,555 ✭✭✭Downlinz

James Ryan is having a nightmare, lots of mistakes and once again showing he can't call a lineout at international level.

They are better on the ball, and better off the ball. No chances for us at the moment.

    That's a bull**** pen again, 6 was a tackler.

Harsh to give that against Ryan for off his feet. Hè was bounced away from rucj with limited impact on ruck?

Roux folded Curry up like a lawn chair there with the clear out.

But you’d love him on your team, he gets away with it, but he has serious skills.

that's part of what makes Itoje so good.

    McCaw was similar.

    Wrong decision to snipe there.

Also, can we please not use every line out that isn't Kellehers fault as an I told you so when he clearly does have throwing issues?

Ireland are doing what they have done in every game vs England in every game and then act surprised when they get the same result...

Penalty count against Ireland again creeping up. Something happening a lot under Farrell’s tenure.

We definitely haven't got to grips with how the ref is reffing. Need to adapt to that.

He hesitated a bit. And the chance seemed to vanish. Did well to make the break though.

We should know by now. He has reffed these players often enough
