Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Was Keenan down there before he was caught.
Too close to call really, wouldn't want it called against Ireland.

That's a ridiculous advantage from the ref. English player played the ball on the ground but he said it was James Ryan?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 15,172 ✭✭✭✭kmart6

Three 2 irons from Lowe instead of some 9 irons.

Zero attempt to wrap that tackle in the air.

Thought it was an Irish hand myself

Launchbury never rolled after tackling Keenan.

Didn’t release - harsh call on ireland

Depressing to see all the foreigners togging out for us. Sad day

Gauzere is all over the place, launchbury never rolled away from Keenan, Vunipola off his feet and Joseph past the ruck at the same ruck, Lowe’s kick was touched and he shouts at the chasers to retreat.

    Keenan has started well

There were clear irish hands slowing ball.

Farrell with a completely innocent and accidental shoulder in there...

Launchbury wasn't the one on the ball.

    Keenan naïve in contact again.

Delighted to see the kicks in behind. Keep turning them or make them think about their line speed.

He really needs to cop on with those.

That's not crooked - still poor overthrow from Kelleher

That's a harsh call - was very slightly to the side.

Poor throw. Really need the lineout to function today

You're right. Ryan counterrucked and seemed to be about the win the ball. Though Underhill scooped it away, but it was Ryan.

    I’ve always questioned lowes kicking.

He needs to get that aspect of his game right before it gets badly punished at this level.

Knock on right in front of ref.

England will get on the scoreboard here.

Sinckler was more or less driving horizontal there

    England clearly wheeled that around

Clearly tripped by the player on the ground. Stupid decision.

    Scrum in ribbons once again.

Great line speed and aggression from Ireland. Roux is having a fine game.
Not sure it can be maintained for 80 minutes

We aren’t allowing England the time to play their game for the moment.

    Stupid penalty from POM

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 17,300 ✭✭✭✭razorblunt

Itoje lifted Porter off the ruck by the neck there.

  • Registered Users Posts: 11,790 ✭✭✭✭Burkie1203

    That's just thick from o'mahony

Ominous start to the scrum battle

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,123 ✭✭✭Spore

    Very dangerous for Ireland now

    May try out wide

    Ah jaysus.

    Mis timed the jump

    Jumped a fraction too early

Why did it have to be May.

  • Registered Users Posts: 154 ✭✭magic17

    That Keenan is dreadful

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 251 ✭✭Paul Weller

Very poor defence to allow May to score there unfortunately

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 24,457 ✭✭✭✭lawred2

Don't think keenan got that right

Did the hard work killing the maul...

I disagree. It was a brilliant kick. Attacker always had the advantage.

Let's put this game down as a development game. Great opportunity to learn and develop...

need to start playing some rugby. some utterly ****e kicking

Keenans jump wasn't perfectly timed but the damage was done at that stage.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 12,861 ✭✭✭✭mfceiling

Does lenihan realise the ref was playing advantage for Healy being off side?
