    The above results are from the games played on October 24th/25th. Two games (Offaly v Kildare and Derry v Sligo) were walkovers and so were not included in the scores regardless of who you chose to win.
    Again, apologies for the length of time this has taken. Triple whammy of games every week, a new baby and busy work has meant I've had next to no time to get to it before this week.
    Anyway, for the first week, 4 posters top scored with 18 points.
    No one predicted Fermanagh to beat Louth but apart from that, the vast majority of posters predicted the correct results.

    Hawkeye9212 was top scorer this week on their own with 17 points so they're ahead of the field by 2 points.
    No one obviously predicted the impressive season that Waterford were going to have as everyone chose Cork to beat them. No one managed to correctly guess the two draws in this particular week either.

    Lots of tricky results this particular week. Only one poster got Kilkenny and Clare winning. And while Down got by Offaly after penalties, no one got close to predicting a draw in normal time. One poster predicted Offaly by 4 but all the others had Offaly by double digits.
    Davys Fits and feargale were the joint top scorers with 15 points.
    Overall, ReginaldSmythV remains one point ahead of RMAOK. jjjd and Davys Fits are both 4 points further back.

    We're finally up to date just in time for the final!
    Three posters got all 5 results correct this week but it's jjjd who was the top scorer with 14 points out of a possible 15. Antrim's margin of victory over Meath was the only bonus point that eluded them.
    And that high score bumps them right up to the top of the leaderboard on 82 points. ReginaldSmythV is just a single point behind with feargale now in third 3 points further back.

    Looking like a final shootout between the top 2.

    Congratulations to jjjd who is the winner of the 2020 Hurling Championship Pools. 7 correct initial predictions were enough to take them clear of ReginaldSmythV who only managed 5. jjjd finishes 3 points ahead of myself in second while ReginaldSmythV and feargale finish a point further back in joint third.

    For the initial predictions, every single poster (naturally) predicted Offaly to win the Christy Ring so it was a massive surprise when Down managed to knock them out. No one managed to correctly predict Donegal winning the Nicky Rackard Cup with most people going with Mayo.

    So congratulations to jjjd and thanks to the small number of ye who played. Apologies again for the delays in doing up the scores. Keep an eye out in 2021 when (Covid permitting) the NHL pools competition will be up and running. I promise I'll be more on top of things by then.
