Hi all,
Vanilla are planning an update to the site on April 24th (next Wednesday). It is a major PHP8 update which is expected to boost performance across the site. The site will be down from 7pm and it is expected to take about an hour to complete. We appreciate your patience during the update.

    Under pressure at work yesterday. Missed the morning and lunch run slots and had to finish off work at home so that's me gone. Balls....best of luck with the rest of it. Some pretty amazing milage being clocked up.

    Yesterday I was chuffed with myself for "rescuing" a stray sheep on my route, taking her across a flooded ditch back to her grassland. Not bad for a city boy.

    Today she was back waiting for me, and had brought a mate. Ba$tards. I tried to ignore them but they jumped in front as I passed for my return... try as I might there was nothing I could do, they kept running along the single track. I tried stopping, tried running into briars, tried to sprint past them... in the end they travelled 2.5k along the Railway walk, and I only just managed to stop them getting into the carpark/road, and hopefully they will return.

    Tomorrow I'm taking a different route.
