My goodness what a load of vanilla personalities, can't say I've really warmed to anyone there to be honest.

Twins don't outclass any of the girls to be honest, and judging by the preview I don't think any of the lads are going to have their heads turned.

Connor is an absolute dope.

I can see Mike being a fan favourite, a police officer and on first impressions seems like a great guy.

The posh guy Ollie actually seems quite genuine. He sounds like a bit if a dick, but I think he is just playing to the stereotype, I reckon he is pretty sound underneath it all, lucky man owning all that countryside.

The copper seemed sound as well.

The birds are hopeless. The twins look disgusting, all plastic yuck, no thanks. Shaughna is a spacer, really dim. Leanne seems alright and the Siannese is going to go for ollie. The other girl with teethface is a bit young, a bit too girly now.

Allover the girls are shockingly bad. I hope they have a few tricks up their sleeve, a bit better than the plastic twins.

This bunch are not as hot as previous years however producers have put people in with actual real jobs and not just called a modelling agency like last summer.

Early days but I think it might beat last summer's series which was pretty bad overall.

Love Island would be a lot more interesting if they had slightly older contestants. They don’t all need to be 35 but a house of 22 year olds is just boring.

I noticed that! It was over something to do with his famous threesome, I think, which he brought into the conversation himself.
He had a really bad attitude, I can only imagine what he'll be like in a few weeks when he gets comfortable if he's being like that on night one.

But the overwhelming thing is his teeth. I am happy enough for someone to take care of how they look and hygiene is perfectly acceptable. But spending thousands on your knashers at his age reeks of vanity and an unhealthy ambition. Heebie Jeebies for me, he could be a wife beater for all we know.

Ryan Gigg's love child will be the best craic and will be pulling the best birds, he is a cheeky chappy. Lets hope he shares his Daddies' enthusiasm for scoring.

How old is he? I did not think he was that old. I know lots of people in their 40's getting their teeth fixed and getting braces etc, if its always bothered him.

The thing is though, its the rest of his head that dont suit the teeth.

I think that's it - it's like they are too big for him or something, like they might fall out. Poor lad cos he's looked alright (like a normal lad) before he got them done.

He might be slightly older than the average bear on the show. His partner is only a liddle baby though, I doubt she has seen too much at this stage. She is pretty though.

He said he had a girlfriend for 4 1/2 years and one for a couple of years, so he knows the birds and the bees you would imagine. I am not sure she does yet?

Couldn't agree more, they did for the first couple of seasons have a few in their 30's but the age group just keeps getting lower every year.

In reality, people that age are not actually looking for love.

I’ve heard there’s a girl from Eastwall in Dublin going in. Not sure how true it is but my colleague who lives in the area told me. I looked the girl up on Insta, she’s got nearly 30k followers and is very pretty but a filthy howiya accent. For the past couple of days she’s been posting on her stories about getting ready to go to Ibiza...doing all her holiday prep like extensions, nails, etc. Can’t imagine why a 19 year old clubber (judging by her highlights) would go to Ibiza in January when it’s dead and cold, so could be true!

A girl in my year in secondary school used to always do this too, and had the most high pitched ridiculous laugh. And bright blonde hair with bad fake tan.

Is it just me or used it be a lot more varied in terms of personalities in the earlier series?

They all just seen to be clones of each other, very low IQ with the same conversations repeatedly. All fillers, botox, teeth, boobs and bums.

They are all very ordinary this series too. Sophie is attractive and maybe Callum in terms of the guys but that's about it.

I think the problem is that they’ve all seen the show and know how it works.. constant ‘do you wanna go for a chat’ or ‘what’s your type’ is getting really boring, surely the producers know this..

Controversial but I think when twins try to look and dress and look the same the way Jess & Eve do it’s just attention seeking & kind of sexualises twins.

Two of my best friends are twins, they both have a similar style but would intentionally dress completely differently on nights out & do their hair/make up differently, so they look like individuals.
On the rare occasion they’d be dressed similar, they’d be inundated with negative attention for the whole night.
I imagine that’s the type of attention those two bints get wherever they go.

I have a 22 year old daughter so we’re watching love island.
I think it would be hugely improved if I were in it, wandering out on to that deck in my apron saying “what the hell is going on with all these lights burning, do ye think we’re made of money? Now I’m putting the spuds on in five minutes so the dinner will be ready in 20 minutes and I’m not going to come out here again begging you to come in....”.
