Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

This wasn't a wind up?... is this for real?

Effin hell RTE what the F.

Like everyone else I thought this was Waterford Whispers type wind up. Unbelievable idea thought up to keep those Operation Transformation goons going. Presume KT will have her usual different designer clobber for each episode to make the poor contestants look even worse?

it's been filmed already, were just waiting for the production team to complete their 14 days of isolation before they can cut the show and air it.

I hate the sight of her.

I honestly thought this was a joke when I seen the thread earlier and then I seen it for real.

I always roll my eyes a bit when somebody says or does something stupid and everybody starts demanding that they be fired for a mistake. This however is one of those times where multiple people at RTE thought that this would be a good idea. Surely the people who agreed to put this out are not fit for purpose.

Sure Dee Forbes will give Kathryn/Those who suggested this a big fat contract as BBC/ITV/American stations are looking to "poach" her and the rte "talent"

    And the follow up...
    Grave To Improve.

I'd rather Pimp My Grave with John Connors. Travelleresque grave for all.

And on tonight's episode...we give Kathryn, Covid-19. And for good measure, we give Covid-19, Kathryn.
Happy Virus Games. And may the odds be ever in your favour!!!

    Someone should “call Joe”. :D

It’s a self sustaining loop. It’ll be on Joe, Darcy will have a feature and LLS will blow its load.

Remember folks, if you want to watch television (a service so basic that its afforded to people in prison) but dont watch RTE - you still have to pay them 160 beans per annum on pain of imprisonment where ironically you can watch RTE for free.

    Absolutely brain dead....the title....Jesus Christ.

I might be alone in thinking an operation transformation episode showing you how to work out at home wouldn't be the worst thing in the world though?

Jamie Oliver banged out a cookery show which aims to use things from cupboards and swap out ingredients etc.

RTE have jumped the shark (again) but it's possible that the production company and presenter will get paid some sort of preliminary fee whether the program is aired or not.

    Stop, you’re killing me

RTE is an absolute nest of wife swapping, orgies, drug taking, sodomy and multi-generational incestuousness. I'd imagine most of them have been infected by this damn virus by now.

Speaking about RTE’s decision to create the new series, Kathyrn Thomas said On Ray D’Arcy’s radio show: ‘Essentially we’re calling the show Operation Covid Nation.’

‘This was a conversation that happened between the HSE, RTE, VIP – who are the production company that makes the show – myself and the experts on the show.’

So the naming of the show as Operation Covid Nation was discussed by herself, the experts, RTE and the HSE and not a single one of them thought 'hang on a minute, is this the best name under the circumstances?'

It really shows how out of touch these people are.

Or thick beyond measure, or so ego driven to be on the public stage no matter what, or all of the above.

Rejoice in the awareness of feeling stupid, for that’s how you end up learning new things. If you’re not aware you’re stupid, you probably are.

I hope that they have some of the Trans Oppers on, just to see how they're doing since they left the programme. I wonder will they have leaders that we can follow during the lockdown. She's an absolute babe and seems like a genuinely nice person to boot.
