Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. This was the incident that seemingly put her in the "villain" role in the show, according to some on Reddit.

The fans are the ones who verbally abused her and caused this but the producers/editors of these "reality" shows always seem to slink away without blame despite being the puppetmasters.

    22, no age.

That’s absolutely tragic 22 just no age at all

I'm out of the loop on joshi but by all accounts Hana was going to be a big star and was ingrained in the business through her mother.

It's all over my timeline at the moment but what really strikes home about the beautiful messages pouring in for her this morning is that this was a 22 year old, vibrant, social and talented girl that's gone and the people mourning her are in and around the same age, young adults. You see the names and you have a perception that these are superheroes, and what they do is incredible, but before the shows and after the shows, a lot of them are young adults and honestly wrestling fandom needs to take a look at itself for how it treats its heroes. Going to someone's profile and verbally abusing them online because you watch them for 20 minutes once every couple of weeks is not acceptable.

Also the Terrace House stans are trash.

Only 22 but she had already done a lot in her short wrestling career. Debut in Wrestle-1, two time Artist of Stardom champion (one in a team with her mom Kyoko), leader of the Tokyo Cyber Squad, winner of the 2019 5STAR Grand Prix, part of that crazy 6-person tag against Suzuki, Kong & Satomura, plus performed at both MSG and the Tokyo Dome. Terrible loss!

Thanks mate. You'd have thought post Covid Stardom with the Bushi Road ownership would've been on the rise too, I'd imagine this must be a blow to them. But ye it's horrible, my youngest brother is 22 and like I can't even imagine someone that young dying in circumstances like that, it's so sad.

Sure 22 is no age at all. Awful awful ****.

Sad and have to agree 22 is so young.

Not to be voyeuristic but does anyone know what the nature of the bullying was? From what I've seen and heard she was a young, beautiful and most importantly accomplished for her age.

The world at her feet. So sad.

Seemed to be on a reality show we’re some if it came from but I’m sure someone would know better who watches stardom

Both Kairi and Io saw her tweet just after she posted it as it was afternoon in the States however by the time they got through to friends it was too late.

    How sad all round. RIP.

Yeh it was a reality show, the link was thrown up earlier. Like some Big Brother type show I guess, seems she got into an argument with a lad because he used the washing machine when her stuff was already in it (turns out apparently it was the custom made gear she had for WK14 so no wonder she wanted to look after it), they had words and she knocked his hat off his head is basically it.

So insignificant it shouldn't have warranted any reaction but the rest unfortunately is history. I know online wrestling fans can get labelled as toxic, and no doubt rightfully so in some cases, but the messages she was getting over this was next level abuse, people gleefully wishing death on her etc.

Animals. Wishing her to die just cause she got in to some small argument with someone on a reality show. Who knows that bit could have been scripted too! But that's here nor there at this point.

Jesus people wishing someone dead over someone knocking a hat off someone's head ? Is the world that bloody sensitive now ?

Wrestling fans can take things too seriously at time I agree but wishing death goes beyond wrestling fandom.

The scene in father Ted about small and fair away comes to mind when you read some of the comments people directed at her. Some people need a good Kick up the hole because they are vile stuff.

I'll be honest my knowledge of Japanese wrestling isn't as detailed as some here and the name rang a bell but I couldn't say if I've ever seen a match of hers, but it's still sad. I mean she seems to have had the world at her feet and that's all gone.

Anyone here watch STARDOM or into any joshi? Just seen Hana Kimura has passed away, reports saying she took her own life because of cyber bullying.

Really good in-ring with lots of potential, and worst of all only 22. Terrible week for wrestling with this, Larry Csonka and Shad.

Only 22 so young RIP, the internet can be a bad thing at times, troll keyboard warriors

Seen this on CNN's Twitter, that Japan are to discuss cyberbullying laws after death of wrestler and 'Terrace House' star, Hana Kimura.
Japanese government officials are calling for action against cyberbullying, amid a national outpouring of grief after the death of professional wrestler and reality television star Hana Kimura.

I don't know is it carelessness or just plain bad luck, but another incident has happened with Nia Jax in the ring. During a match (taped) with Kairi Sane recently, Kairi suffered what was described as a significant head injury, cutting her head outside the ring. Match had to be stopped, such was the blood loss, but once patched up, Kairi insisted on continuing

Thrown and hit her head against the corner of the stairs according to Fightful. So it's carelessness on Nia's part, I get it's wrestling, accidents can and will happen, but when Nia's got form for these kind of incidents, she doesn't paint herself as someone you'd wanna be stuck with in a storyline/match, plus it's her 2nd incident with Kairi after the botched turnbuckle spot last month.

And nothing will be done about it of course. WWE will just write it off as an accident and Nia will continue to be allowed to wrestle carelessly and then probably brag about injuring her as well. Wouldn't be surprised if they blame Kairi instead for being injury prone.

Or did Kairi pull the shortest straw of getting stuck in a feud with the lumbering oaf that is Nia Jax?

As much as I can't stand Nia, we should see the bump first. Maybe Kairi took it wrong.

Well given the match was filmed for next Monday's RAW, the bump will probably be edited out in a way that wouldn't be too noticeable. Unless you'd be well versed in knowing what's edited and what's not.

Ah who knows about the Nia Jax situation...
It's a weird one. Maybe she gives too much gusto for things on TV ...
Maybe she has the typical "big man syndrome" (well, big woman in this case) where larger wrestlers like the other to play ragdoll. Happened throughout the ages. Will happen throughout the future.
Maybe it's both? You'd have to get in there and work with her.

Then again the wrestling biz is all about getting your sh*t in. Some take that too far. My two cents is that I wouldn't be shocked she likes to give the rag doll to those she works with.shes bigger than most. Probably always complaining about how who could beat her "legitimately" - I base that on, again, the whole big man syndrome.

The worst Nia Jax incident for me is the one where she moves out of the way of Charlotte's moonsault to the outside instead of taking the move like she's supposed to so Charlotte can have a safe landing

Botches happen, they happen a lot for her it seems, but the literal moving out of the way, that's a line crossed for me

Samoans less than the fact that she's the Rock's cousin and 'she' thinks she's entitled to do what she likes.

Jax is just bad at the job. Its not about gender. If she worked in an post and couldnt find the post office while kicking peoples dogs in the face, she would be fired.

Awful. No charisma, no skill and very very very very very little ability.

That's what Unions are for to stop the crap workers being fired in services like An Post she would just be shifted to a different role however she would still have a job with An Post.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,570 ✭✭✭savemejebus

Yeah but a union won't work unless everyone wants to be treated equally. As long as top spots exist, then you won't get full sign up for a union.

Stop nitpicking and understand the point i am making mate. Take an post out of my post:pac:

Video of what lead up to the guy being shot outside the performance center five years ago... you just hear the shot.

The dude is turning up there again now while they a filming episodes and the WWE are trying to get a restraining order.

    Fairly basic spot no?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 8,689 ✭✭✭sky88

Asuuming it was edited but looked like nia threw her with too much force and downwards not allowing kari the time to get protection from The spot

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 60,879 ✭✭✭✭Agent Coulson

I think Nia just doesn’t know how you use here size and strength in a working way.

If that is the case the the trainers and producers also need to have a word with themselves that after years of training and producing her she hasn’t learned to work.

Well the throwing someone into the steps is a spot you have to throw your opponent in a way where they are able to turn and hit the steps with their back or shoulder. Kairi doesn't seem to have been able to turn.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 9,863 ✭✭✭hynesie08

It looks like kairi was trying to take a knee slide shoulder bump into the steps and she lost her footing...... I'm happy to call out ****ty spots but nia looks as safe as can be to me, she's got kairis hair so she's not in control of the bump....

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 339 ✭✭weareallmarks

Jax takes too many steps leaves no room and it causes the accident. It is a week 4 trainee mistake. Completely on her. Literally no time to get hands up etc due to the force she threw that tiny woman at the steps, along with leaving zero space.
    Amateur hour

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 11,205 ✭✭✭✭B.A._Baracus

    Interesting point WeAreAllmarks,
Nia doesn't give her enough of a run-up to take it. No different from giving someone a sh*t-can - grab the head, direct them and let them take their own bump.

It does look like Kairi is stumbling. One could argue that's just the sell. But I don't think so. Who knows.
Maybe a combination of things. Nia is clearly calling the spot so maybe Kairi didnt quite hear and Nia was too close as it was.

  • Posts: 13,688 ✭✭✭✭ Jeremiah Ashy Lubrication

I think Nia brings her a bit too close to the steps and doesn't give Kairi much of a chance to sort herself out.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 339 ✭✭weareallmarks

The stumble is caused by the force she is being thrown at. That along with having no space or time to protect herself means she is going to get hurt. If Jax knew what she was doing, there would have been space for both to sell. Jax to sell the throw and the tiny woman time to prep and sell the damage.

Jax is just unsafe and awful. It is that simple. Incapable of doing her job. She is just awful! Shouldnt be drawing a wage from wrestling

When I first watched it, I thought jax grabbed 2 handfuls of kairis hair, which would have meant that the momentum would have all been kairis but I watched it on a projector screen and jax palm shoots her with her left hand and that's what causes her to loose her balance..... Yeah jax is at fault here.

But wonder will they be allowing fans back so soon. I hope they let the wrestlers have a say. Though they probably want a crowd for Backlash.

    Also money.

But isn't there 1 match on Takeover or Backlash that they said will be somewhere else?
