Stroll holding checo up even though he has made up 5 places to get in behind him. What are the chance of team orders there I wonder.

Will that stop people from going wide there now?

    Hamilton closing in

Yet again...that suspension was broken already at the start of the race. The car just wouldn't turn. You'd imagine they'd pick the issue up in the post-qualifying inspection.

Whether you like him or not, Hamilton is box office

Can Albon catch Charles L ??
Never mind it's only 16laps left

No, gap is too big. 26 seconds behind him

  • Registered Users Posts: 14,623 ✭✭✭✭skipper_G

This hasn't exactly been a thriller so far. It's all been very pedestrian, everyone managing tyres

I think Perez can get well in the points after starting at the back.

    Hasn’t even been mentioned.

If he was tall and blonde they’d be going wild in commentary.

If LeClerc is pumping in 1:36s I’d absolutely come in if I was Hamilton

  • Registered Users Posts: 13,902 ✭✭✭✭ctrl-alt-delete

Enough time for Bottas to catch Hamilton and for an incident which takes just Lewis out :pac:

    "No talking now" - Bottas

Leclerc isn't in the equation though, if Hamilton pits he loses the lead. Staying out is the only chance to win. Only a few laps left anyway

    Another excellent drive from Albon.

I didn’t realise he had actually outscored Max before today.

Coming up to traffic just as Bottas will get DRS, so Lewis will have it too for a bit.

Granted, but it’s close to 2.5-3s quicker. At the time I posted that it would have absolutely been possible to get it done.

Yeah another solid drive, the racing incident with Sainz was unfortunate but nothing he could do. Good recovery drive though

Another nice pass from Checo, he's had a great race as well. Pitlane start and running in the points

In fairness it hasn't been too hard when you consider Max's performances include a puncture, a dnf and a back of the grid start from memory.
