Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Over the past number of weeks, Musiklab held a DJ competition in Waterford. The DJ's were excellent across the board, playing mostly house and techno. The number of DJ's who entered dwindled as the best of the best were pushed through to the semi-finals, and the finals.
The finals were held March 5th 05 in the Bank Bar, where the survaval of the fittest was put to the test. After the competition, all DJ's who entered the competition were invited to a mash up in The Forum where everyone got to play throughout the house and techno rooms.
The winner, Dean Feeney, played a stormer of a set in the final. And of course the runner up, Peter Breen from Wexford played just as good. I think these sets are worth a download for anyone into techno. Its good to see some homegrown talent battle it out.
Download the sets from here. The final two are equally as good as each other in my opinion.

these guys have a great new site up and going, if you have broadband at all it will be of use to ya. sign up and it uses bittorrent to share mixes new and old loads of genres, some old rave stuff from uk usa and round the world, new essential mixes drum nbass breaks beats techno hardstyle chillout trance etc... it's got loads going on, so lets get a few irish lads in here. If there was an old mixtape you had chewed up years ago well..this is where you just might find it.
The program 'Azeurus' available from sourceforge is the best to use i find.
ohh and if you haven't a clue what i'm on about with torrents and such they have six cool radio stations to listen to (whisper* which can be recorded using programs like soundforge for eg.) check it out anyway an see how ye get on.
