Over the past number of weeks, Musiklab held a DJ competition in Waterford. The DJ's were excellent across the board, playing mostly house and techno. The number of DJ's who entered dwindled as the best of the best were pushed through to the semi-finals, and the finals.

The finals were held March 5th 05 in the Bank Bar, where the survaval of the fittest was put to the test. After the competition, all DJ's who entered the competition were invited to a mash up in The Forum where everyone got to play throughout the house and techno rooms.

The winner, Dean Feeney, played a stormer of a set in the final. And of course the runner up, Peter Breen from Wexford played just as good. I think these sets are worth a download for anyone into techno. Its good to see some homegrown talent battle it out.

Download the sets from here. The final two are equally as good as each other in my opinion.
