Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Hi all. Do you think we might expect the results from the test on this one shortly? Next week maybe?

Results next Tuesday, not long to wait!! Anyone know if there are many positions in general? Seems nearly as many applicants as for Civil Service CO's but surely a lot less positions?

  • Registered Users Posts: 112 ✭✭Sarahlaois

    Thanks

Impossible for us to know, I would suggest looking at the information they gave us with places you could be placed and see how many in Kildare

Apparently there's no failing this test ..just you get put in order of merit ....don't worry too much ......highest scorers be asked for interview firstb

Really I thought it would be like the permanent Clerical officer competition 2016 where you had to pass all three parts.

Think they only do on line test then onto interview ...I'm only repeating what I was told ..sorry if it's wrong

If you rank high you get a competency form to fill out and then on to interview. You'll get a new ranking if your interview is successful.

Im surprised there isnt a supervised test

Thanks for correcting me nelly 21 ....sounded tooooo easy to be true

I actually only found this out the other day. I only read the requirements of the job! You also have the option to turn jobs down without being taken off the panel. The send out offers by text if jobs arise and you pass the interview. If you're not interested then you just dont reply and wait for the next offer

  • Registered Users Posts: 414 ✭✭L390

Oh really ? That's good so

  • Registered Users Posts: 197 ✭✭tiny14

im not expecting anything from it being honest as i made a complete hames of it & did find it harder than the pas ones but it was no harm doing it for experience!!! best of luck to you all🀗🀗

That error checking is the stuff of purgatory - it was insanely fast.

Judgement day is upon us lads. Best of luck.

Nelly21 that's good to know. I took the permanent co job in a location that I have to take two buses to each way and the commute is slowly killing me. I hope that this is my route to some thing closer to home.
