An old thread, I know, but just wondering if any has done this programme or heard anything about it?

Im going to bring up this thread again, to see if anyone has any info on Elate. Has anyone tried it and is it worth it? What's involved in the programme?

Cutting out the junk, reduced portion sizes. A 6km walk every day for the past 6 weeks. I've lost nearly a stone. Cost me nothing to sign up to it.

Did they give any idea of prices on the free session?

I never enquired. My point was that it's doable without forking out 900e.

Sometimes paying money for something make you 100% committed what you paid for.

No didnt go with, tried doing it myself without success, so it may still be on the cards

Having my free consultation today. Didn't know till i read this that its €900 for 6 months. That's expensive but ill see how consult goes.

Just wondering how the free consult went and how much it's currently costing? Thx

Hey New to Boards but wanted to find somewhere to ask about Elate - had my free consult this morning and all sounds so good and she was really supportive and understanding and had a clear plan as to how my weight loss would go - it's 900euro for 6months - I understand with all the information you receive and the daily support etc it's going to cost but I'm thinking it's a bit steep - in saying that I would be prepared to pay 150 per month and do it but she said it's 250 per month or 3 x 300 ?? I'm not sure what to do it's a lot of money so would love if there was someone who has done it and said how it is rather than just the testimonials on their page as they are obviously their high success stories

For some people money aspect is what keeps the motivation going.

Otherwise, you can lose weight sitting on a couch watching TV and eating nothing.

if you are a very disciplined person and have time to watch a video from the owner every day and keep going in and out of 3/4 various discussion forums it’s a bit of a head wreck if you are a busy person but if you have time on your side to weed through all the information daily then it could work for you but I personally found it a tedious process. The focus is on trying to eliminate sugar and eating more protein. Downside is you never meet anyone as it’s all online which I feel that personal human touch somewhere along the way even at outset would be nice that’s my honest opinion as it is expensive.

@suzicue take it, its not going well then?

Could not agree more with your review. Utter waste of money given the quality of experience.... absolutely nothing personal about this program and the online experience is a mess.

I wouldn't say I'm a disciplined person but I knew I was joining an online programme so didn't expect to meet in person. I thought the support they gave was great, I had something like 5 coaches to help me. Granted the programme takes times and dedication, but once you put in the work the results will come. I'm finished over a year and still maintaining!

    This ⬆⬆

I lost 3 stone during lockdown with Elate. Everyone else around me was gaining at that time. The coaches are amazing, i once got a reply straight away to a question I asked at 1am. Someone is always there to help. They told me I'd have to work for it and I did but my god is it worth it. Is it easy no, but nothing worth doing is.

How's it going now? To me, Elate is the worst weight loss program I ever signed up for. Unhealthy foods, unsustainable, astronomical price. I will encourage anybody to avoid this unhealthy and rip-off program.

I hope you didn't sign up for this. A complete rip off. Your cholesterol will soar, you'll miss eating healthy food and you'll be down €900. Avoid!

I agree 100%. I sorely regret signing up for this garbage. They recommend the most awful unhealthy food. My cholesterol was at an all-time high. The whole program is a scam. Should be closed down.

I dropped from a Size 20 down to a Size 12 on ELATE. A great programme with great support and worth every penny of the investment in myself.

The food you eat is natural whole foods. I actually save money at the supermarket because I have stopped buying crap.

Makes me laugh to see whingers saying "I'm too busy" to commit to losing weight but they always have time to bitch on the internet.

Sounds like a typical "Elate" member of staff comment. ELATE should be closed down!

delighted with my success on the Elate program. Currently on it, satisfied that I eat a fresh healthy diet with no processed foods. Have lost the weight I’ve been trying to lose for 5 years.

Very sad to see someone knocking a healthy eating plan that may prevent others from joining.

yes it is expensive, but so is attending health specialists if you can get appointments! I feel much healthier since losing 3 stone this year. Yes it’s hard work initially but once you settle into the program it definitely gets much easier. Support is one to one and available daily if required. No waiting in queues to be weighed like I did for years in weekly classes 🙄.

I AM A SATISFIED CUSTOMER with no vested interests or connections to this company. My inability to exercise was accommodated- so no 5K walks or runs for me and I’m still losing weight on a steady basis.

good luck to anyone hoping to lose weight - the benefits are worth the hard work 👍

I am currently on Maintenance program with Elate. I joined last June and am delighted with the program. Have used different weight loss programs before, this is by far the best. I have dropped 4 dress sizes, lost 3.5 stone and feel great, loads of energy and never felt healthier. The program is online, so you can go in and out when it suits u, loads of support. Program is very well structured and once u commit to it, it works !

I joined Elate almost 2 months ago, after seeing the amazing results my sister got, only after doing it for a few months. I am really enjoying the programme and have learned so much, it feels like a real lesson in nutrition. It's all online and you have access to videos and recipes on the Client Portal that you can watch whenever you want and also ask your coaches questions in a private chat. The coaches are great and give great advice and encouragement. I feel so much better since I joined and already feel a huge change in my clothes and my overall well being. Elate has made such a positive impact on my life and has provided me with the help I so desperately wanted and needed to lose fat. I have tried other programmes and struggled to lose. It is without doubt the best €900 I've spent on myself and I'd recommend it 100%.

I'd be really interested in trying this but I'm very suspicious of the positive review here in May and June. All the people posting have just had 1 post. A bit of a coincidence!
