Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

There's been a few different theories that they've come over here as a safety net for him and I've seen few saying he's laying low over there but won't be for long. Any plan will just have to be all out war as the retaliation has to be seen to top what's happened. Money is everything, if the funding is there then the murder is only the tip of the iceberg.

    Nope, that's why I asked.

All seems quiet on the Western front, seems like a lull to gather the next moves. Few sightings in Mr Price of the Hitman but none verified. Usually the pattern is the Garda are everywhere and the gangsters all have new prices on their heads. Was there any truth in the bounty of 100k on one of the top guys? Think I seen it on RTE website. Have No link though.

Various outlets quote 100k on CP. That's the only related one I've seen.

Beyond that you can get a few thou for the monk or 1 million if taken alive.
A top member of The Family will get you 250k.
How much is BS is open to debate. Papers can print this sort of stuff and there isn't anyone you can prove the authenticity of it.
The people putting up these types of figures are just as likely to not pay you and tell you to go **** yourself. What you gonna do?!

Word is theyve found the torso, top of grove hill which is beside Rathmullen, lot of guards there at the moment

They searched the banks between Rathmullan and Hill view you would have thought they would have checked the Grove. Hopefully they have got it though so they can bury the body

Is it actually the official supplier of pastries to the guards?

Mod: Any more pastry jokes will get you banned, Brian (and anyone else who thinks pastry/donut jokes are hilarious).
Very tiresome and not funny at all.

    I dispute that.

It seems people are more interested in the local gangster gossip than discussing ways of rooting this out of our society, which is the really fascinating question.

It is a terrible indictment on our society that peope do not wish to take part in that wider debate, particulalry the so called "people in the know".

You sound like you should be knocking front doors for the next two weeks.

From what Im hearing over the past few months the two Drogheda factions seem to make their bread and butter from the coke and weed, same with the so called Gucci gang, I live in a town a fair bit smaller than Drogheda and heroin is rampant for the last 10 to 15 years, lads are raking it in bringing it up from Dublin, coke is obviously on the rise again here too with the economy improving, would Drogheda have much of a heroin problem does anyone know?
