A good internet connection and free online courses. Just finished an introduction to psychology course (although I previously studied it in college) and hoping to do ones in criminology and forensic psychology next.

My work ethic and drive to self improve .

the wild wind on my face... the birds who sing when I cannot sleep... the cats who follow me, all five of them, when I meander down the lane here.... the wild flowers that smile at me.... codeine! for my aching body!

Things I am grateful for...

There is a lot of dark stuff in the news at the moment and it's hard to sometimes concentrate on the good stuff. With that in mind, I thought I'd share a thread where we could post something that we are grateful for or that makes us happy, a bit like a collective gratitude journal

I'll start...I am grateful that I have a big and happy family of parents, siblings, niblings and in-laws and that we all live close enough to each other to see each other fairly regularly. We had a lovely family day yesterday and even though not everyone was there, it was still lovely to spend time together. Also, going for a walk in the park with my siblings and niblings on Saturday was a lovely experience. The niblings are all very young so hopefully it was the first of many
