There's a Scottish player in the other set of uk qualifiers called Darren Beveridge. His nickname is supposed to be Ice Cold Beveridge. You do get some interesting names in these qualifiers

The 2 German lads who averaged 40 against each other got drawn again :D

Barney and Sherrock looking good today, 3 wins all above 90av. Culleton out.

Sherrock just got beaten in the L32. She lost 6-2 with a 76 average. She probably needs a couple of wins tomorrow to get through.

Barney looks to be cruising, as he should be in this company in fairness

    No cards yet, no.

Lost in the 'final' although he already has enough points to get through to the next stage with another day to go.

Wayne Warren is gone today, finished in 3 points and is almost certainly knocked out. Miserable stuff from the BDO champ.

James Richardson is also knocked out and not going through. Other people not going through are Dean and Lorraine Winstanely, Deta Hedman and Wes Newton.

A few Irish lads look like they've done enough to get through, as has Fallon Sherrock and Kevin Painter.

Hard to understand the format of Q school

It's like a world championship in its own, I'd say its so tense as its the difference of playing pro or going back to the day job (fee exceptions like Barney and Painter who have enough £££)

Niall Culleton and Shane McGurik the only two Irish in the next stage?

I think a few Irish players are in the second group of UK qualifiers starting tomorrow.

2nd group of euro players on now. Matt Campbell lost 6-3 first game against German opponent despite averaging 83.

Christian Kist and Gino Vos both winning 6 nil in their opening games

I see a Bosnian fella there, averaged 41, managed one ton in the whole game !!

These lads are gas, obviously just going for the craic.

They'd finish bottom of the boards.ie tournament with those averages.

Just noticed there's a Jimmy Hendricks and Jerry Hendricks in today's one. Wonder what chances are they'll draw each other

Think I read that he wanted to win and have it sorted early doors :)

Alan Norris off to decent start 2 6-0 wins and 89 and 87 avg. Plays Portela now

Jose De Sousa's world cup of darts partner, Jose Marques, hits a nine darter in the last 16.

Overall standard with today's group of UK and Euro players far higher than the previous set going by the averages

Beaten buy 'Ice-Cold' in the last 16, who subsequently won his final
Thought he was dead and buried against Portela - he was 5-3 down but reeled off 3 on the spin

Hit a 10-darter in the last round as well

Danny Baggish out first round again. It's looking very unlikely for him.

Same with young American lad Lauby. Gone out first round twice now despite averaging in the 90's both games. His opponents threw 90's against him, worst luck with draws

He has been seriously unlucky when you look at some of the dross being played

    Gary Mawson yesterday prime example

Matt Campbell is going strong today in the euro one. Few high 80 and 90 averages.

2005 World finalist Mark Dudbridge on another decent run today

Matt Campbell lost in the 'final' but he already has enough points to get through.

Mark Dudbridge got through today, great to see him playing well again. Irish player Martin Heneghan also through.

Beau Greaves drew Damon Heta in consecutive first rounds last year, how's your luck!

I see John o Shea had a good run, hopefully enough to get through. Galway man Hennigan was one of the favorites to win a card, cruised through today great to see
