Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

There's another amateur Jordan Niebrugge also at -9

What an approach shot - great birdie chance on 9.....which he gets, according to the scoreboard! -10!

Amazing performance. He could win the whole thing, and he mightn't win the top amateur medal!

It's a pity it wasn't reduced to 54 holes due to the inclement weather

Narrowly misses birdie on 11. Great putt.

He was saying he was getting mistaken for Spieth earlier this week, it will be the reverse if he keeps this going

    Damn 3 posts too late!!

-12, joint leader. Surely the most consistent player in this tournament?

Nope, for consistency you can't beat Brett Rumford - 71/71/71. He might be tied 57th but he's the only player to return the same score on three days.

Lovely interview there on the bbc, he didn't realise he was in the lead until the 10th hole.

The impressive thing is he knew the putt was for the lead.

The top of the leaderboard isn't going to change now - Oostie , Paul Dunne and Jason Day joint leaders on -12. Does that means that Dunne will play with Oostie again tomorrow - because they would have submitted their cards more or less at the same time?

He'll be out in the last group now for sure with his playing partner from today.

Between Dunne and Harrington in the mix I'd love head on home at lunch time tomorrow and slob out on the couch to this.
    Stupid weather :(
    Stupid work :(

    C'mone Dunne!

Brilliant for him to have led The Open........that's bragging rights for the rest of his life.

He has been very calm so far and let's hope he keeps that up and doesn't let the occasion get to him.

Today will surely help him to decide to turn pro.

Nerves don't seem to be a problem for him so far, but I'm glad he's out with Louis again/

He did look nervous towards the final couple of holes, but he didn't play like he was nervous. Great to see. Was he interviewed after it?, would like to see what he had to say.

He was by the BBC, seemed very calm.

Basically said it was about getting the ball to do what he wanted it to do, that he will come out tomorrow and set himself a target in his head and aim for that.

edit if you check out this link http://www.bbc.com/sport/0/golf/33586835 and scroll about halfway down the page there is an interview with him

Interesting alright. 66 gives him a nett 71. Definitely in the buffer you would presume but would be nice to know what css was.

Does this count as a handicap adjusting tournament?

+5 on Howdidido. Greystones must be the most frequented club on-site tonight.
