Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Having experienced over a year of life with 2 - 3 hours sleep every night I'm a huge fan of sleep :D

Came across a copy of the above in a public library recently.

Mr Walker is an extreme fanatic of sleep. He explains why in this book.

Its a great read ( dont expect laughs ) for anyone with an interest in the topic.

Neuroscientist Matthew Walker suggests that sleep deprivation is linked to numerous fatal diseases, including dementia. It should be noted that there are alternative views. One suggests that individuals are different in sleep needs. No shoe size fits all.

I was with a Guru recently.
There are 3 stages of Consciousness.
    1.Waking Consciousness.
    2.Dreaming
    3.Dreamless sleep.

We need to have a healthy balance of these 3 states

When we die,1 and 2 stop but 3 is still a part of consciousness and continues to exist. There is nothing in dreamless sleep(3) for the body and mind but it is still a conscious existence. When we wake up from a dreamless sleep we are refreshed and ready to go again full of Energy. Its a regenerating state
When we die,our consciousness is forever in that dreamless sleep state but without a body or mind to disturb it.Consciousness does not disappear it just keep changing states.

Because I am tuned in, but for those that are not tuned in,this concept is hard to grasp. You will one day grasp it....when you die.
