Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Not sure if they were a joke but tried them again and neither have worked. Thank you for both.

They're for QuickPark, I've just tried for July, and WOOF worked.

    Quick question:

Looking in advance at Dublin Airport, I notice that for my dates for the Short Stay on a Sunday morning coming back on a Monday evening it is €50. If I book Saturday evening (even 23.59) to the same time on the Monday evening it is €30!!!

Does anyone know would I still gain entry if I didn't arrive on the Saturday night but on the Sunday morning or is entry limited to the DAY of entry only?

  • Registered Users Posts: 104 ✭✭irishfemme

Did you find out about this? If i put 6am, i will save €5, compared to 11am. Arrival date.

Just booked using CINEMA, but it only works with standard parking. Having selected premium parking, it dismissed that and went to standard, with the discount applied.

I emailed them directly. You can arrive any time after the initial time period specified, even if it is the next day.

Just as a heads up - looks like red/blue carparks have reduced their prices. I was looking at €142 euro for my May trip, but just checked now and it's down to €90 for the red carpark. (blue is €79 and it was €92)

    Booked as happy with that!

Don't think that discount code works for travelling on Monday.

Can't see to find anything less than €39 for travelling for a week.

Yeah actually expensive enough now to park, seems all you got are the hotels and the red carpark.

Seems like DAA has Short Term Parking on Special Offer through out the rest of the year ( I booked September).
€52.95 for a week in Terminal 2 Short Term multi Story seems decent enough.

Yes I'm getting no spaces for any dates I put in.

There is a dispute between Dublin Coach who operate quickpark and the landlord. Quickpark is closed and to my knowledge there is no opening date unless a new operator takes over.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 429 ✭✭Craftylee

christ, if they don't sort the quickpark issue before international travel re-opens and the masses start travelling, it's going to be chaos, no?

Yes hopefully it opens back up, without competition the other car park prices will rocket. Probably not a whole lot else can be done with this land, too near airport for dense housing I'd say. Spotted this in the news...

So we have only daa at this moment or anything cheap close to airport as well?

I see Clayton is like €20 less then Red DAA(blue out of order till september or end of it).

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 956 ✭✭✭devil-80

Is it easy to park at Clayton and bus frequency is good?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,827 ✭✭✭bpb101

Im going away for a week in august and red carpark is 55 quid which is a bit high imo. should be 40ish in blue or quickpark.

Clayton are charging around that , but says buses are every 20 mins and takes 10 mins drive.

Working the same day so dont want to add another half an hour of dead time in the clayton.

    Anybody any experiences?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,827 ✭✭✭bpb101

Oh, Blue is back (at least for the 9th of august onwards(what im searching)

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 956 ✭✭✭devil-80

Yes looks like blue is back. Anyone knows how fast or slow is now check in thru airport?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,375 ✭✭✭Indestructable

I always used Quickpark, disappointed they're gone.

Is 89 Euro for the red car park for two weeks good value? Would the Blue usually be cheaper?

We're not going till later in the year, the blue isn't showing up as an option for my dates at the moment.

    Thanks.
