Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Hey guys. Looking for a graffiti type artist to do a wall in my cafe in a style similar to the link below. I've got a tonne of Molotow markers from All City, but not 100% on my own skills and want someone decent at it!

    Cafe is in Carlow

I'm looking for a blogger who is interested in getting involved in a few projects with a well known brand. Ideally it would be someone who has some experience in upcycling furniture. I'm not privvy to the financial details but I know there would be quite a bit of free product available for the person they go with. It was offered to us but we just don't have the time unfortunately!

oxygen_temp, there are lots of Irish artists with their own websites, if you google what your looking for, but if you want a quick and easy browse of paintings, with prices listed, your best bet would be Etsy.com

Search for "painting" and add in whatever other factors you're looking for, ie. "abstract" or "landscape".

And if you're looking for Irish artists, there's a thing at the side where you can decide shop location - just select Ireland.

    Hope that helps.

Hello I am in need of a painting based on the style and colour of an existing artwork. It's will be two suns in a sky. One very slightly smaller and a bit brighter and the other larger. The colours and style should be based on the image attached to this post, this is important!

Could anyone manage this before Christmas? ??

It doesn't have to be big. A4 or a bit smaller maybe. Watercolour maybe. Does this interest anyone? It's for sentimental value.

    Hello everyone,

I'm looking for an artist who would be able to create a few original drawings to be used for EFL (English as a Foreign Language) classroom materials. I have the concepts in mind, but don't have the artistic ability to create them myself!

I'm in Dublin, so would prefer someone local that I could sit down with and explain the project.

Competitive rates paid; please PM me for more information.

    Thank you!

Bit of a shot in the dark here but here goes: I'd love to have a mural/stencil in my history classroom to commemorate The 1916 Rising. Would anyone know someone who might be able to help with this? The school is in the Dublin area.
My dream is to brighten up a dull/austere room and inspire students for years to come!

    Hi all,

I'm hoping to get an exhibition of eco-art going this summer. I'm looking for 3D and mixed media artists and crafters that do create/can create art or usable items from recycled findings. It will be based in Waterford, so local or south-east region artists & crafters would be preferable. If feasible, we hope to have a provision in place for those who want to sell their work. Please PM me if interested.

    Thanks,
    Derry

Hi guys, looking to get a replica of a joke painting from TV series The League, which one character buys for 25k. It's called a Kluneberg, and here is image: https://pbs.twimg.com/media/CV4K-esWsAIJ7XY.jpg. There are loads of other images online, search Kluneberg The League.
Looking to get replica done as a gift, Dublin area. Would be looking for about 2ft by 3ft portrait. It's very simple and I would attempt it myself but I'd have no use for supplies afterwards. PM with any info or questions. Thanks!

I've recently uploaded a song to youtube just for a bit of fun and put together a slideshow with some photos. I then got the idea that I'd like to upload some more original recordings at some stage in the future.

I'd be interested in talking to someone that would like to put a few sketches/drawings/whatever you like, together to illustrate some songs for display on youtube. PM me if anyone is interested.

    Hi all,

I am looking for an artist to reproduce a photograph for us. I would hope to have it reasonably close without too much deviation from the original.
The only issue is you might not have more than about 10 days to reproduce it as I have yet to get the photo and have to have it for Sunday 3rd Sept.

Willing to travel to collect within 2 hrs of Dublin.

    Please pm with some samples.

    Thanks

What type of photo is it? Portrait, Landscape and what media are you looking for - Oils can tale weeks to dry so acrylic or watercolour would be you safer options

    Hi,

I'm looking for help finding an artist who can paint a landscape (in oils or acrylic) - about 14x21ins (or whatever). In the Munster area preferably (so I can collect it). I doesn't need to be framed but if that's included all the better.

The style of painting would have to be to realistic.

Thank you in advance for your help :)

Amazon, E-Bay, Etsy, your local charity shop, TX Maxx, Heatons, various department stores, Woodies, Adverts.ie, etc. This forum and this forum might have some tips, too.

Also, you could look on the back of the plaque to see if there's a sticker or an indication of the name of the company who made it/imported it, and then look that up on the web.

Have you tried ringing the place where you bought it to see if they have any others?

Cheers for the reply - I'm actually looking for a custom made one in memory of my Nan for our kitchen so wouldn't be available in a shop.

Nothing listed on the back of the plaques. My mam picked them up in some random shop in England last year and can't remember what the name of it was :(

If you're any way handy, you should be able to make one yourself quite easily with stuff like Fimo.

Mod: I'll move this over to the "Artist Wanted" thread, maybe it'll get more visibility there and someone will get back to you.

    Hi,

I'm looking for artists/painters to do a painting of a house in South Tipperary. If they have a website or facebook page even better so as to look at previous examples of their work.
Not looking to break the bank.

Oil on canvas including frame. Minimum 1 metre x 600. Maybe bigger as it will be in a large dining room with high ceiling.
    Open to options.

It's an old farm house with impressive views of the countryside.

    Thanks

    Hi,

We’ve had this steel cabin in our back garden for 70 years. The story goes it was a ticket office for boat tours from Dun Laoghaire harbour in the 50s.

I’m looking for ideas or an artist or metal artist/worker to make it prettier or more interesting. We’ve been painting it as you can see, but it’s not really floating our boat and we’re thinking of cladding it in wood. But seems a shame to cover it up.

I’d love to chat to some one who might have some ideas or be able to do some work. Or you might be able to suggest a more suitable forum?

    Many thanks

    Hi All.
My colleague and I are looking for an Artist for a new Irish/celtic superhero character!
The plot and story is pretty much formalised. Artist is needed to bring this character to life on a cover/portrait.
This character will eventually be published in a graphic novel.
If attachments of previous works can be sent, if we are interested then a phone conversation will be conducted.
Any inquiries please give me a shout!
    Thanks
