    Yeah I think I might head down to it for a little look, takes a bit off effort from Sligo but I haven't seen my sisters new venture up and running yet

    Athenry St. Patricks Day Parade
    Tuesday 17th of March
    11:45am
    Participants gather at the Raheen Link road from 10:30am.

    There will also be a childrens fancy dress section. Children in fancy dress can join in the parade. There will be prizes for the best constumes (under 12's) both boys and girls. Judging and prizes will be presented in front of their sponsor, Little Bird Toys at 1pm sharp after the parade.

    There's a table quiz on in The Merriman in Kinvara on the 9th of October at 9pm. 4 per team, €10 per person, all funds going towards new school building for Kilcolgan Educate Together. It's going to be a great night.

    On Sun 24th April, the actual calender anniversary of the 1916 Rising, a Parade will take place in Tuam to honour those who sacrificed their lives for Ireland. This event is one of Galway County Council's official Decade of Commemorations Events and is organised by the Old Tuam Society.

    Rather than start a new thread, I was wondering about Badminton Clubs or Coastal Rowing Clubs around the Oranmore/Kilcoglan area. Due to be there by September and need some hobbies to keep me active. Thanks

    Sorry this post is a little last minuet.
    Today 15th of August, is Lady Day in AThenry.

    There'll be Story telling, facepainting etc. from 4;30 in Little Bird toyshop in the Square, there'll be music in the Square in Athenry tonight.

    Sweet Attrition are the band, they're pretty fab:)
