Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    @ Grandeeod, your post stuck a cord. Tis the night for it :) Sometimes I feel alone in the world too. Its amazing how many people do feel this way. I don't know if that realisation helps though.

    I'm bed side and about to go to sleep. Bloody work at 7am. Oh well.. sure it's great to even have a job, I'm thankful for that.

    I know who they are but to be honest I'd prefer the usual countdown and soundtrack/mix they do in previous years at midnight to this. Maybe they'll still do it?

    The problem with bands like Madness now is that most people who would know who they are probably only like their top 2/3 hits rather than the back catalogue/new stuff they seem to be working through (though as I say that House of Fun starts). The rest of the audience are probably lost completely.

    It's also not helped that it's music that hasn't aged well IMO. They're no Eagles, Fleetwood Mac etc.

    To be perfectly honest , I think this is dire .

    Watching Madness. Hard to believe it was a quarter of a century ago I saw then live in the lashing rain in Feile.

    Back in the day when this came out we had sky movies at home and young entrepreneur that I was, I recorded it and gave it to friends at school for £2.50 each.

    Didn't see the tape for months but when it did eventually come back certain scenes had obviously been rewound/paused more than others :p

    My wife's mother died a week after her sister got married then her granny died a month later and just to top it off the sister has just been diagnosed with aggressive breast cancer. This is all since September so a year to forget for me wife is on the verge of a nervous breakdown and the kids are devastated.

    So f*ck 2018 and here's to a great 2019 for all of us.
