There is absolutely no way that the Hawkeye system they have in croke park can tell where the goalie caught the ball. If it did the graphics would show it.

All it shows is the trajectory was over the bar, which I don't think anyone would argue with

As I said, I’d be of the opinion that if a keeper can reach up and play the ball, even if it’s a foot behind the crossbar, then no score. Goal’s a goal alright.

Problem I have with that decision is that Barrett never got a yellow card when he had the neck high challenge on Hogan. Consistency is always an issue in the GAA
