So... the time has come.. I've spent 5 years dreading 6th year, and it's finally upon me.. oh goody.. :pac:

Making this log to keep track of the study I'll be doing, but as it stands, my current plan is to not over-do myself this early in the year, so I dont plan on spending hours a night on study, just my homework and maybe 1 or 2 bits of revision :)

So my goals for next June are:

    English - B1
    Irish - B3
    Maths - B1
    Spanish - A2
    Business - A2
    Physics - A2
    Biology - A1
    (565)

And these are the grades I got in the summer exams:

    English - A2
    Irish - B2
    Maths - A1
    Spanish - A1
    Business - A1
    Physics - A1
    Biology - A1
    (615)

And the course Im aiming for is DN200 - General Science in UCD which is currently at 505 points :)

Im starting after school study every week on Tuesdays and Thursdays, so hopefully that will get me kicked into gear for my pre-mocks in November :)

What do you mean not covering human biology?

    Yeah...my teacher is..how do I put this gently...frustrating... :o

Shes not covering any of the 11(!!) chapters, because she feels it 'isnt necessary' to have them covered unless youre aiming for an A (um, some of us are Ms...), so instead shes going to do revision once we've everything else finished, and let people looking for an A work on it themselves in class -_-
Whats even more frustrating is that shes giving us a full paper, with Human Biology and all, for our premocks, so we 'know what its like to not have a choice in the paper'

Annoys me greatly considering I dont have much spare time to cover all this, and I plan on doing Biology in college so... :'(

I'd be complaining to the principal if I were you..

11 chapters out of what? Like 40 wasn't it?

I haven't got my book right now but it's something like 25% of the book

She does it every year, people have complained before :(

    Yeah, 45 or something :L
I think shes going to do a quick run through the 'important bits' but like ffs.. :L

She's prioritizing the weaker students (a majority of whom are just the messers who wont make an effort) and trying to revise to get them up to passes, rather than letting them suffer the consequences themselves for not working, and in turn sacrificing everyone elses grades

Well not exactly, a lot of this is homework :P
All my english, spanish and irish work is homework :(

The only thing motivating me is that a few of my friend's schools are doing midterm study, and they're in there 9-4 every day studying, hence making me feel **** and under productive xD

You got a lot of homework then..

Did you only do 2 items for comparative so far?
