Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Would love to hear The Young Dubliners without electric guitars and a bodhran replacing the drumkit. Great energy.

In that case try to get your hands on Smashing Of The Van as recorded by Chumbawamba (I think, but I could not find it on their website). Only vocals and a bodhrán!

Have a little ramble around this site amongst other things you will find the lyrics to the Smashing of the Van and many other political songs.

Bought Altan's new album on the strength of hearing some of the songs on the plane to America. Not as inspiring as I hoped it would be. Also listening to Makem and Clancy Live in New York - fantastic stuff - real vintage!
