"Follow me up to Carlow" as recorded by The Young Dubliners (great rhythm & unique vocals).

Would love to hear The Young Dubliners without electric guitars and a bodhran replacing the drumkit. Great energy.

In that case try to get your hands on Smashing Of The Van as recorded by Chumbawamba (I think, but I could not find it on their website). Only vocals and a bodhrán!

  • Registered Users Posts: 908 ✭✭✭Whiskey Devil

Are Chumbawumba who I think they are?

"I get down and I get up again"...

    Yes, that's them.

"The smashing of the Van" is also known as "The Manchester Martyrs"

Who do you think Chumbawumba is?

I know who they are.A more pertinent question is , do you?

    http://www.chumba.com/

Have a little ramble around this site amongst other things you will find the lyrics to the Smashing of the Van and many other political songs.
