Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

You run it constantly with iptv? Not see a massive lag in loading etc

Zilch lag. Pretty much same as Nordvpn. just compared them now using a UK server. Super Sunday pm and working great.

Hey, sorry for lots of questions but...

Can somebody please explain what should I look for in a good VPN?

I've heard of NordVPN and ExpressVPN. Never heard of KeepSolid VPN. How does it differ?

Can you setup these VPN services on your Windows PC and Android without having to download their apps?

Also is that £12 lifetime deal monthly or you pay once and you don't have to pay for it anymore?

Thinking of replacing my current Zenware VPN. Does the BBC iPlayer and the ITV Player work well with the Keep Solid VPN?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,859 ✭✭✭SteM

I just checked them both and they both work fine.

Installed KeepSolid. Tried BBC iPlayer and it worked, then tried ITV Hub but got
“We’re sorry something went wrong, please try again later”
    Anyone else have this problem?

Folks Is it possible to have it default to a certain location depending on the app your using. Ie. Usa vpn for netflix. Uk for I player ect. As opposed to changing manually each time you go between apps

ITV hub refused to work for me on android. It was fine. I'm now getting a need to update message but can't. Bbc is working.

Could you check what version of the app you have? I'll need to find a new one. Thanks

Sold out already the other day but came back up again so took a punt on it.
    Many thanks OP.

Have been using the free version of Tunnelbear which has worked well but obviously has it limits and I didn't want to go premium as it was a bit too expensive.

It usually sells out but then a day or so later comes back again. Be sure and check in regularly.

Pure VPN can be got for $17 for the year which is probably around €15. I have been using it myself for almost 2 years and have no problems with it

I watched a show on Iplayer via chrome with a VPN on and no issues

Try it on fire stick and buffering randomly or the errors which mean we know you have a VPN on/not in UK

  • Registered Users Posts: 200 ✭✭w4ntedman

So I asked when the iplayer server would be back and they are working on. Nothing specific

I have it also. both PureVPN and this are useless with Vodafone Gigabit fibre and iPTV.

Just picked up Nord VPN €3.30 pm for 2 years plus 56% cash back from Quidco.
Comes with 30 day money back guarantee too so if Keepsolid sort themselves out in the meantime I might cancel. Reviews are good though.
For now it's working on the phone at least. I will try on devices tonight.
    Happy enough at that price

I signed up for Keep Solid to use the BBC iPlayer specifically. Dam thing isn't working now

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 400 ✭✭_John C

    Received this email from Keepsolid.

    "Dear John,

Meanwhile, due to the popularity of BBC iPlayer streaming among our users we have received a great amount of the same requests as yours recently.
In this situation, we decided to optimize statistics and to form a general list of requests for the streaming from our users.

When the issue will be fixed in the nearest future, we will carry out a mailing with a notification about the unblocking BBC iPlayer.

Given the above, wouldn’t you mind me closing this ticket for now?
As I mentioned earlier soon after the fix you will be notified via email."
