Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Is David Silva out do we know?

Pep said nothing in his press conference today about David Silva, but he mentioned before the mid-week CL fixture he expected him to be out for 10-12 days which means he's very likely to miss out. It's Pep though, so who knows?

Mane captain is very tempting now.

Dunk will be suspended for the Leicester game. Vardy (c) locked in.

Roy Hodgson on Joel Ward: "He's injured his groin. He felt a pain in his groin so it's obviously some sort of strain in the groin."

Sounds like it might be his groin...

Duffy is a pretty solid replacement though right?

He's not as good as Dunk though imo plus Webster is injured. So that's the first choice cb pairing possibly out.

I believe Roy actually said it was his gwoin

True on the Webster part, and while Burn is naturally a CB, even if they move him there, then they’ve to replace him and the whole thing is less fluent.

Has me thinking indeed. Between this and Southampton’s vulnerability to wide players it’s becoming a 2 horse race for me.

Doesn’t sound like a great holiday - should have gone to see the pyramids, way better than a photo of Salah!

That’s a proper international injury that - the Scots have nothing to play for

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,042 ✭✭✭Pete_Cavan

I wonder is Salah really in Egypt for a mini holiday and to rest but with no intention of playing for the national team. Shows his face in camp to keep everyone happy but genuinely can't play so will be back to Liverpool for physio soon enough after having a break. Seems to be an underlying injury there and he probably needs a bit of time off to heal properly.

Talk in the soccer forum of a longer time out for Salah,I suppose it's wait and see especially with him getting a 10 day break.

    Anything on Salah since?

He didn't train yesterday so he is listed as a major doubt for the weekend currently.

We'll hear more in Klopp's press conference on Friday or before it if some reliable journalists have the inside scoop.

Anyone have an update on Maddison?

    Salah and robertson trained today

I love that you are always watching who is training. You aren't Bielsas sidekick caught with the bolt cutters at Derbys training session last season by any chance? :-)

This is handy, usually pretty up-to-date, menus on left or can search by teams, managers, clubs, useful on deadline day.

    KLOPP ON SALAH FITNESS

"Yesterday he trained. He has been training the things we want him to do. It's not that he has got worse, it's just that it (the injury) is there still.

"We have to be sensible. I have to see the session today before I make a decision."

i have Salah, and I won't take a -4 to get him out, but I honestly think he misses tomorrow's game.

Klopp will not risk him ahead of an insane 40 days or so for the club.

DISCLAIMER: I've been very wrong in the past.

Even playing it's got to be annoying him. Don't think I'll ever transfer him if I don't this week. Have the excuse ready and all to do it.

Robertson's ok is he not? And I'd fancy Jimenez to start

The list is coincidentally posted in the general EPL thread in the soccer forum this morning.

Yeah, part of the new BT/Sky deal. They have 3pm games so don't broadcast them in the UK.

Any update on the news that Aguero could be out for a few weeks?
Might affect my idea of swapping Sterling out for Son.
