Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Its unbelievable

Lost for words. Ref somehow imagined he was out of bounds.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 7,510 ✭✭✭Hazys

Give the TD and let the review bail you out if you’re wrong...same goes for the fumble...idiotic

Pats needed that TD to seize the momentum, refs killed it

I really dont get it. All scores reviewed anyway. Why even make the call?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,457 ✭✭✭FastFullBack

Utterly stupid rules if there is no way to review that play.

They get the spot wrong and the challenge, cost Pats a time-out and challenge.
Pats forced to challenge the fumble, which cost them a potential TD and their 2nd challenge.
Then cost a TD on Harry.
Then signal a TD, but change it late, with Pats heading off the field; runs form the play clock on the Pats who hastily rush and get nowhere.
    Refs.

That niners saints game was absolutely phenomenal, but also the best atmosphere at any sporting event I've ever seen. Just unreal. The Superdome is an unbelievable venue in one of the best cities in the world. Really thought the saints had it with the last TD, the noise during the last niners drive was deafening.

The best thing was that every few minutes a niners fan would thank me for the bears beating the cowboys.

No way was that offensive pass interference on kelce.

Watkins clearly short there, what are the officials looking at?

He wasn't clearly short at all, it was going to be marginal at best. Risky challenge that came back to bite them.

Think they need to change the whole blowing it dead rule. Patriots got screwed there but at the same time we saw earlier in the season the opposite isnt much better, where the refs didn't blow it dead despite it looking like a player was definitely down and then they couldn't overturn because it wasn't clear and obvious from the camera angles. Feel they need to move to more like rugby, where they can let them play on but say the call on the field is that there was no fumble.

Lol the refs are trolling at this point

Decent comeback, could have been more but for the refs.
Ultimately, the 1st half cost them.

Great win, never in doubt

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 7,510 ✭✭✭Hazys

Ugh some difference having to score a TD versus a FG there, refs had a major impact on the outcome.

The silver lining is I really liked the fight we put up in the 2nd half. We were the better team in the 2nd half. We have the ability to be the best in the AFC when we get it together.

Gonna be a good battle in January for the Afc crown between ravens ,chiefs and Pat's. I feel Patriots need that 1 seed cant see them beating Baltimore on the road.

Ravens have the #1 seed unless they lose 2 of their last 3 games and Pats win out. They play the Steelers and Jets at home and Browns away. #1 is all but wrapped up. Far more interesting is the #2 seed.

Its will be Pats or KC travelling to Baltimore for the championship more than likely.

Browns beat them handily and the Steelers pushed them to OT with 4 INTs for Jackson.

From a Steelers perspective, happy for them to have it settled by the final game..

Ravens are a lock for the #1 seed at this stage. Difficult to see them being beaten in their own house too. KC might be the best hope if they have everyone healthy.

Will the pats try to bring AB back? They need a spark from somewhere

It would be an embarrassing backtrack for them, though it would be all forgotten if it helped them win it again.

No, for a few reasons. It’s been mentioned that they wouldn’t have signed him had they know about the case against him. Then he sent those texts while with the Pats, so they cut him. And then he hit out at Kraft when off the team.
    He’s not coming back.

Chiefs had 10 penalties for 136 yards. Pats only had 5 penalties for 25 yards. The refs didn't help the Chiefs. There were bad calls on both sides but the refs definitely didn't favor the Chiefs

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 6,438 ✭✭✭j8wk2feszrnpao

Penalty count doesn’t mean much. You can be rightfully penalised. The Chiefs probably could point to the refs, but nothing as significant as the TD call, it was huge.

Chiefs fully deserved to win, no doubt about that.

Look, after 3 SB appearances in a row, and after 19 dominate years, the Pats have to take a step back at some point; and this is that year. We’ve played 3 proper playoff teams, and they’ve been the better side.

Teams win the SB, or just get to the SB, and don’t make it to the playoffs the following year. That’s the norm for other sides. We’re still in with a shot because of Brady (imagine this side without him) and Jules carrying the offense. Maybe they’ll hit form or click in time for the playoffs, but I don’t expect them to really challenge this year. Here’s hoping though.

Is Brady actually doing that much so far this season to get that kind of praise? I see him getting animated on the sidelines but he seems to be more often than not taking what is there on the field but not much more.

What an atrocious game. Who decided to put this on MNF?

Started to pick up a bit now but defo Ravens,Saints or Chiefs should've been flexed to MNF

They don't flex Monday night games, only Sunday night

My word that was terrible. Eagles had one proper receiver standing and the Giants don't bother to mark them. NFC east really does not deserve a play off spot.

It was a poor game. I would say the 7 minutes highlight on GamePass or YouTube would do the trick.

Pity they didn't move it to the late game as 12 is early for a game like this!

Have we heard from adrian since the game, did he survive the stress of it?
