    124 - 68, .646 on the year coming in

Some nice games this week, Baltimore @ buffalo will be interesting but hard to see past Ravens in their current form.
49ers @ Saints has potential to be great. I've been feeling the Saint slipping a bit in recent weeks so big test against the 49ers defense.
Chiefs @ Patriots is the big one, not a fan of going to foxboro with an angry Bellicheck after a loss but I like how KC have looked defensively and could see this being the start of a big push into the playoffs for us. Could go either way but I'm feeling the Chiefs at the moment.

Also, playoff implications in the Titans Raiders game, Seattle Rams too, although mostly seeding for Hawks.

Broncos could upset the Texans this weekend - there is little film on Lock and there will be confidence after the win last Sunday and if the Broncos D can contain Watson then it could be an interesting game.

Cowboys on a downward curve, Bears on an upward curve. I fancy the Bears tonight, their D seems to be getting it together and Trubisky has been better the last couple of games. Anthony Miller had some game on Sunday gone, expecting to see him have another great one tonight.

Bears have looked better but the wins, and trubisky's improvements, have been against terrible teams. Until I see him do it against someone with a good defense I won't believe he's capable of it. Even though struggling, the cowboys look like a huge step up from the likes of the Giants or Lions, and I don't trust him to get the 20 points or so I think they'll need to win this. We're definitely improving, we needed a run of games to do that, but there's a ceiling on what we can do. Think it'll be 20-17 cowboys, and the end of our season. Another win and we might start thinking we can defy gravity though!

About to fly to New Orleans for the saints-niners weekend, was hoping to arrive before kick off to get things started right but got delayed. That's a bad omen.

Think it is quite generous to say an upward curve for the Bears, their recent wins were against the Giants and the Staffordless Lions x2. Conversely you're a bit harsh on the Cowboys, their recent losses were to 10-2, 9-3, 8-4 teams.

Cowboys still have the division in their hands and I don't see them losing tonight.

Super impressive opening drive by the Cowboys. I hope the Bears offense doesn't go 3 and out or their defense could be in for a long half of football. 17 plays!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,702 ✭✭✭MileHighGuy

What a snag. Shouldn't have thrown it, but that was a great catch by the DB. The best and worst of Trubisky on the drive.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,862 ✭✭✭Mysterypunter

Dallas are absolute rubbish, that Jason Garrett is just a goon who stands there looking bewildered

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 15,472 ✭✭✭✭Oat23

The Cowboys are the weirdest team in football.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,702 ✭✭✭MileHighGuy

I thought Dallas would be a bit more competitive, with the unexpected Eagles loss last weekend, and a chance to take control in the division.
Bears are having their way with them in every facet at the moment.

Fair play you called it by the looks of things. Bears offense is unrecognizable from earlier in the year. Including trubs.

Or the Cowboys are just awful and a good match for Trubisky like the Lions and Giants were.

Cowboys really need to cut Garrett loose. He is completely inept. You could probably hire a top madden player to do a better job than him.

Dare I say Riverboat Ron would be a good fit for Dallas imo.

It's the best team we've beaten except for the Vikings game, by far. And that's a decent defense, which we tore apart. Serious step in the right direction. Still would be shocked if we win next week but **** it, it's progress.

Two weeks in a row they've looked in control on the first drive only to collapse from there. So strange.

Mitch is a different player once he remembers he can run! That was a great performance. Allen Robinson was even better. He's got to be up there in terms of top possession receivers in the league.

The losses to the Raiders in London and Chargers at home really sting now. Had those been wins the Bears could have been wildcard contenders in this form.

I am not sure the Cowboys were really in control on that first drive. They seemed to have a lot of 3rd downs including one long one. They made them and fair play but they were not in complete control of it for me.

Mitch was better but the Cowboy defense was disappointing with a lot of missed tackles. Running a lot more helps his overall play but I think even if you were closing in on a WC spot you would still get knocked out if the play offs pretty quick.

Allen Robinson is great. No question.

Well I got that one very wrong. Cowboys look completely lost, you could even see it on their faces when the camera turned to the sidelines. Still don't have any faith in the Bears, can see them losing out the rest of the season.

After being very high on the Eagles heading into the season, the NFC East is pure trash this year, the only division with all teams having a losing record. Both Cowboys and Eagles still have control of their fate but even the 3-9 Redskins still could top the division. Despite all that, both the Eagles and Cowboys could up their game in a one off home match in the playoffs and knock out a contender

Finally got my Superdome tickets sorted at the last minute, so looking forward to the game tomorrow.

Pity they didn't move it to the late game as 12 is early for a game like this!

That should be a great game.

Have you gone to many "away" stadiums to watch 49er games? Would there be any issues/hassle wearing 49ers stuff in your experience?

No real issues in my only other away experience in Soldier field. I wore Kaepernick jersey that day, which was 4 years ago. You get a few good natured comments but not much more.

This weekend there are literally hundreds of 49ersnfans in town so it should make for a great atmosphere.

Cheers, would love to catch a Broncos game again, but my best chance is when they play on the East Coast, I was always a little reticent as I wouldn't want to have to hide my allegiances in the stadium.

Hope you enjoying the game, looks like a real barnburner.

Interesting to see if there will be any tweaks to gameplans at halftime in the 49ers v Saints game. 49ers inexperienced LBs and safety, due to injuries, giving up big plays nearly every time they seem to have Saints in a bad position. 49ers to get the ball after half time. Surely both teams can't keep up scoring like this
