Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    must check out this "the vampire weekend" people are ranting and raving a little too much for my liking. same goes for MGMT but i've heard their album and it's quite good.

    nice to see another fan of adebisi shank on boards, i really need to seem them live.

    to keep on topic i'm listening to...

    Red house painters - katy song.

    MGMT are electro sorta. Check out Kids, Tom Dunne bigged them up (that phrase is still used right?) loads and played the song loads.
    Vampire Weekend are a bit of everything. Some songs are kinda paul simon-ish and others have strong african vibes. Pretty interesting listen. Check out Oxford Comma or A-Punk to get an idea of what they're like.

    Aye A Weekend in the City was a bit of a let down. however the deluxe edition has Flux and a live DVD on it, so it softens the blow.

    At the moment I'm listening to;
    MGMT - Oracular Spectacular
    Tapes n' Tapes - The Loon
    Wolf Parade - Apologies to the Queen Mary
    Vampire Weekend - Vampire Weekend

    Ah I dunno, A Weekend In The City had its moments, the first half of the album was incredible as was the final track S.R.X.T. I think 'Sunday' was ok too?! However it dip dip abyssmally after Where Is Home?
