WWE has looked into hosting SummerSlam within the Northeast at an outdoor location with limited fans, and as of now, have found no interested states in allowing that to happen

WWE champion Drew McIntyre will be defending his title against Randy Orton

Raw Tag Team Champions The Street Profits will defend their titles against the team of Andrade and Angel Garza

That's hilarious. The thought of Vince ringing governors and the likes, asking to do Summerslam in their gaff and being rejected.

No doubt they'll find some redneck hole to hold it.

I think this is Drew's first legit proper title feud defence so he needs to go over clean but doubt it with Flair involved

On paper this looks like the most ordinary Summerslam card of all time. It reads like an card for Raw.

Serious lack of big names. No Roman, Brock, Goldberg, Edge, Bryan, Charlotte or Becky. No New Day either.

  • Registered Users Posts: 28,796 ✭✭✭✭CastorTroy

how long until they start referring to it by the name "You Won't see it Coming: Summerslam"

Well judging by the recent ratings and current card they can rename it...

"You Won't see it : Summerslam"

    I keep hearing TBC...

To beat Flair's record :p anyone else still think Flair the dirty player will still help Orton

I know consistency isn't commonly associated with WWE, but having Ric show up less than 2 weeks after being punted while younger guys have been written off for many more weeks would be a bit much.
Though was Ric punted? We didn't see it happen.

Oh Lord is the retribution angle going to end by them going we own the performance centre now and just have Vince move the tapings to an arena and we’ll never hear from retribution again.

I really feel like the whole thing is a rib.

Go all cinematic and have Retribution seemingly burn the PC down.
Totally ignoring the fact NXT will still be there

How long before the WWE start to charge fans to be in the Zoom audience at ringside.

Seth vs Dominik is now a street fight so I guess Seth gets to bring weapons as well.

Yeah that stip was added to hide the fact Rey Jr Jr can’t wrestle.

I’d imagine as soon as they get out of the PC and into the Arena, so presumable next Friday’s SD

It was clever lights out for the "punt" if it happened, could be a plan between Orton and Flair anyways Flair deserved the low blow as he did the same to Christian

Retribution are going to show up and trash the place but still leave the big stars alone

As someone mentioned in another thread, them attacking big guys like Drew, Braun even Orton will not work

I hope that the Sonya and Mandy match goes ahead on Sunday but I could see it not happening if both of them are still shaken up By what happened earlier this week. I say that because just having seen three pictures taken in court she looked a bit shaken but that’s probably to be expected.

  • Registered Users Posts: 28,796 ✭✭✭✭CastorTroy

I hope WWE don't use this in a storyline

  • Registered Users Posts: 60,291 ✭✭✭✭Agent Coulson

A gang of masked vigilantes get involved in the match I could see the WWE being that brain dead.

sick of Asuka and the bayley/sasha team already

Sonya/Mandy seems to be the match with the best build.
Curious to see if Asuka wins anything. Hope she does or it'll be a joke. Of course she'll probably lose through interference.

I'm thinking Sasha will cost Bayley her title so Asuka wins that one
