Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Its a quality tune, so I say let it through

I do love Boys Don't Cry, but since Hold The Line was my nomination, if Boys Don't Cry shouldn't be eligible I'm in favour of it being knocked out and Toto going through by default... just sayin...

Lust for Life was the same, it didn't chart until the 90s, but it wasn't excluded. So for consistency I don't think this should be disqualified either.

I'd be in favour of allowing the through two based on the fact that they were both originally released in the 70s, even if they didn't make the top 40 at the time and that they both had a considerable number of votes.

It's a bit different to Daft Punk being disqualified in the noughties thread because it was released in 97.

There are six matches left in the qualifiers, so I'm planning on putting the final six up in the next while and then starting Round 1 late tonight or tomorrow at some stage, probably not until lunchtime I reckon

Ya I was surprised at some of the songs that only got one nomination ... or didn't get any.
