Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

:'( This is why I can't find anything other than "mild" or mild marked as "medium" in supermarkets here.

Try these spicy bean burgers if you want something hot!! I like spicy food but these are off the scale. Sooooo hot they have no flavour only heat  (that's my face after eating one )

I did. I'd call them medium on the low scale. Thankfully I'm close to the border where hot is hot.

Really hope size-6 nappies are also 50% off.

Those foil wrapped cakes are poor.

    Size 6 are on offer.

I'll try out some of the cake later with a cuppa.

The size 6 are indeed half price.

Wonder if there's a new improved nappy design coming?

I use to have them as on a diet to keep type 2 diabetes away and found them handy way to have a “breakfast” and get in fibre etc

Then I looked at the sugar % :(

I dont know how you thought theyd keep it away when you didnt look at the nutritional profile

Oats and raspberries (fresh or frozen) are great for fibre in a breakfast!

All new to me, plus when you're handed pages of dietary suggestions you try your best

Diabetes means avoid sugar, that's all I look for

I went to 2 LIDL stores - New Ross and Wexford - today Sunday looking for the breakfast bikkies - I love the yoghurt ones.

The filled ones were NOT on sale - only the 300 gram packs of plain ie unfilled ones.

Didnt have the brochure with me to argue it with them so left it.

have they stopped selling the passata?

None in 3 weeks in Athy

Bit annoying coz I used to make my tomato sauce for pastas and pizzas from it

You can always ask one of their shop assistants if they are around. They brought stock from their back room straight into my hands two or three times when I asked.

It wasn't one of their special offers, though, but worth a shot.

It's joined the growing list of items Lidl have stopped selling.
The point of them is diminishing.

Only ever see it as part of their italisimo range every now and then. Aldi sell it all the time

They have had passata in the red carton next to the tinned tomoatoes all the time. Seem to be gone now. A real pity.

Tesco always have passata too 49c for 500g

We all need bog roll, caller. I'd rather they have half-price on generic stuff we need every week rather than branded stuff.

Nice, like the chunky cod fillets.

Not mad when they include branded stuff like the Heinz as it usually works out just about the same price as their own brand when discounted

Indeed, I'm brexitproofed against any price rises for about 6 months and will still no doubt buy more on saturday :D

Cheers for the big picture on the following week!
