Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Why is this not in the horse racing forum? i'm tempted to move it but I'll see what opinions etc are.

Well it is a gambling forum, and they are all talking about gambling.
Chatting about racing is different in my opinion.

There are several tips threads there as well though, and the general feeling I got when I became moderator of this forum is that horse racing topics should be in the horse racing forum, but I'm thinking of leaving this one thread where all racing tips can be discussed.

not 100% but... it was only 3 squid or so. best priced bet of any real size was about 40 stg @ 45/1 or thereabouts.

Cmon Hi Cloy For The Win!

I went with Davey Duggan on that one:

Kinloch Brae was one of the best horses trained by the late Tom Dreaper and it is fitting that this race is run in his honour. Whilst there is nothing of his calibre in this field they are a useful bunch. One Cool Cookie is going to be favourite on the back of his good run at Punchestown when third to The Listener, he is very good but appears to be a horse that has no real trip although he has twice won at today’s 2m 4f he is opposable. Hi Cloy on the other hand is a dab hand at this distance having won four times and has been afforded a good opportunity to add to his already good record. We last saw him finishing behind Kauto Star at Kempton where he ran much better than his finishing position would suggest. He is a decent type who boasts by far and away the best overall form here and might just edge this race on the basis of the experience he has gained over the last few seasons.

I reckon keep it here but only use one thread for all horse racing bets, if people start taking the pish by starting up their own thread for their sooper dooper tip then start laying down the law

I'm with RahenyRed. Even if he does support Shels. It's not really doing much harm here.

I've just found my new hobbie! Laying horses! I think that there is a statistic that only 1 in 7 favorites win races so I've decided to try lay favorites all day!

    I think you'll find it's more like 1 in 3.

I'd say it's bit more than 1 in 7 but probably would be profitable I'd say! Why don't you simulate it first though. i.e. go onto bf, put in the amount you'd lay each fav, let it do the calcualtion and then stick in a spreadsheet.

This jockeys name is Kirsty Milczarek and she is in flying form at the moment. I know there's no point in saying it now but she got a 5/1 winner today and landed a massive 25/1 winner Friday night. I think she has 10 wins in the past forthnight, not too sure now. It's time this lady became a Boards leg end! Here's her rides for tomorrow, all at Kempton:

    13:40 - Hayley's Flower

    14:10 - Dress To Impress

    15:10 - Beckenham's Secret

    15:40 - Afrinnit

    16:10 - Mujemead

I'll have a better look at these in the morning and I shall put up my picks tomorrow

    Well that was ****e!

Perfect Practise with Kirsty on board in the 7.50 at Kempton tonight - Giddy up.

Just remember that it won't be 1 winner then 7 losers, you will get bad winning streaks like 4 or 5 in a row, which will wipe you out.

Ok not as confident as the other two but 8-50 wolverhampton saipan is a good bet e/w. G keane has 4 horses running here tonight and expects them to run well in particular this one. May be worthwhile looking at a low stakes e/w combo on the 4

Got a tip for Hora in the 1:30pm at Southwell today. Not much of a price though, but it's a genuine tip from a genuine source, perhaps it can be thrown in with a few football hotshots.
