Namely for the below

I want to select the stop and route i'm after. Is there a way of doing this without the physical clicking.

Ideally i could develop this to auto-notify self when the bus is near

Selenium might do the trick. That's what I'd normally look at for automating interactions with awkward websites.

Use a userscript tool like violentmonkey and do it in javascript (you might have to put in a delay between selecting the stop and the route, as the route is loaded lazily):
