I was stopped yesterday. I didn't have to produce any ID or a staff card, they just asked me where I was going.

For context for the Mullingar Muppets who rang in on Friday, 1 positive case in a Cork Hospital this past weekend has taken out 42 medical staff for 2 weeks. What harm could day do and dat?

I’m on a well run and accredited Facebook group, Stoma International, and the Admin asked us all how we are coping, have any of us had the virus etc. I posted about how I became unwell in Namibia. Well that opened the floodgates of Ardnacrusha so to speak, and a public health official in Namibia saw my post, as did officials elsewhere, and my entire day yesterday was spent helpfully accounting for my movements. Anyway, it really turns out I should have done the brave thing and rightfully declared myself ill at Johannesburg Airport and they would have taken me to one of their world class hospitals. The impetus to get home was there, as was pressure from the group not to appear unwell.

It’s an ileostomy bag, caller. The colour is as it goes down the gob + bile + digestive enzymes. Not the bacterial overload as in a colostomy. A curry is very similar before consumption and after so to speak, so good you could almost have it again. TMI
