I just filed a PayPal claim. The order of shipping seems to be all over, and while I appreciate it's a going out of business sale, and there's a pandemic, I can always just cancel the claim if they arrive.

Mine arrived today so took a week from dispatch. They substituted two items but only a few euros worth and not a big deal. I got over 180 books for €99, well worth the wait

My order number is 252430** ordered 3rd March and still not received anything, but I’m sure it will arrive eventually ! They obviously aren’t going in numerical order dispatching orders going by everyone’s order numbers posted here .

Amazon don't go by order number either

If you were seling a single item or a small selection of items, you could go by order number, but when you have a vast array of product then availability of product in the picking area would dictate picking especially when thousands of orders have come in a short space of time

I placed a small order (3 items) on 3rd March for delivery to my office address. Obviously once everything closed including my office, I contacted them via their Contact Us form to change it to my home address and got the generic emailed response. I received an email on Friday to say it had been dispatched and they are using my home address so I guess they are reading all emails even if there is no response/acknowledgement.

Ha, I checked mine, it left BookPeople on 5th March at 11.42pm...and arrived in Basildon at 01.50 this morning, a week later. Sure it will get here eventually.

I phoned them today and was told that usually they would process orders by order number, but at the moment the warehouse are sending them out as they find them so that confirms that order number is irrelevant.

They won't close until they have all outstanding orders sent out and that's expected to be by the 29th of May, so assume yours will be the last to be dispatched and you should have it in the first week of June. Anything earlier will be a bonus.

Was told that they shifted 5 pallets of iteland orders today. Mine from march 3rd and 4th werent on it.

As another poster says.. they expect to have all done by may 29.. so mid june is worst case scenario. Thats what the lady on the phone told me.

There was never a chance of having to take a "hit" as we were all buying from the court appointed administrators. Effectively they start with a clean slate of zero debt and tons of stock. They sell the stock, pay the transport companies just for those deliveries and once the job is completed, including any refunds of non delivered items, the balance goes towards the creditors from before administration.

So as safe as you can get in terms of financial hit.

I'd ordered 3rd and 5th March - got notification yesterday that my second order is being dispatched with only one book being refunded. Hopefully the first order gets sent soon too. Can hardly remember what I ordered, it'll be like Christmas morning when they get here!!

We placed two orders at the start of March and got a shipping order for the first one on Monday. That's the one with the kids books so hopefully arrives before the weekend.

My sister-in-law had two separate orders delivered this week too so they're definitely getting through the Irish orders finally.

I suspect the the trackpak and book people dispatches use different date formats and 12th May shows as 5th May on the trackpak site.

Mine finally arrived. It was supposed to arrive yesterday but according to Fastway there was no one home (hahaha..... 2 of us working from home and we didn’t leave the house all day, driver was probably running late and didn’t bother coming).

I’d forgotten about some things like puzzle books which I’d ordered on a whim but will now be perfect to keep the kids entertained. A box on one item is damaged which is annoying as it’s for a gift but my friends kid won’t mind! The delay was a bit of a pain but the quantity and quality of the books for what I paid is unbelievable.
