My boyfriend has opposing views in some areas of life such as politics and medicine. It can be tricky to navigate but my mind is flexible and open.

Does this thread remind you a little of the questions on okcupid?

Kind of. I was just thinking the other day there should be an 'interview the person below you' feature on Tinder.

    Are you an extrovert?

Nope. Very personable but can't do it every day. It's tiring, and that's my favourite definition of an introvert. Can spend all hours with my girlfriend, though.

Did you want to be a psychologist when you were a teenager?

I wanted to be a journalist. I still do, really.

Would you watch a video of what happened in NZ if it was sent to you?

Absolutely not. 15 years ago, maybe.

Do you think world events affect people too much?

Ummm, in some ways too much and in others not enough.

Do you believe in a God?

No. I can't see how any god that exists, a benevolent one, would allow shít like all of this to happen.

What was your last close shave?

This morning on the m50. I did not know that blind people could drive.

    Ever broken a bone?

Six of them, not including repeats (my poor left radius)

    Ever crashed your car?

    Ever crashed your car?

Slid of a motorway in the snow and got wedged just off the hard shoulder.. No damage to the car thankfully. Called the police and they closed the motorway till I got pulled out. Was terrifying for a bit before I climbed out and got away from the road while there was still traffic. Rear-wheel 1980s BMWs ftw.

Are you a fan of motorbikes?

Yes. I wish I knew more about photography, though. Everytime a photographer gives me a tip on how to take a photo, I marvel what an improvement it makes. It's such a fascinating skill, tapping-in to the most fundamental aspects of the human subconscious.

What's your favourite work of art of all time?

I'm not a very artsy person, but I do have a canvas of Banksy's Balloon Girl in my bedroom.

    Do you think that's lame?

Not in the slightest. Art snobbery is the worst - not that Banksy is anything to sniff at in the first place.

    Can you paint/ draw well?

I don't hate them but I'm not close to them and they have a lot of flaws.

Are you close to your siblings if you have them?

Certainly not, but I do find the extremists on both sides equally hysterical. It's daft, but it isn't Armageddon.

Would you support a United Ireland?

I would in so far as it would be my ideal for the island, but not at all cost, like if it caused a massive extra drain on our economy and services.

Did you back a winner at this year's Cheltenham?

  • Registered Users Posts: 6,068 ✭✭✭Trigger Happy

I have had a dozen places but no wins. Slightly ahead for the week.

Last live sports event you attended?

A Galway hurling match last summer, the semi-final I think.

    Do you follow the GAA?

Yes. It's the most important cultural organisation on this island by a long shot. Have even written most of a novel about a mythical Borrisokane hurling team.

If you wrote a novel, what would it be about?

    Probably addiction.

    I'm five years sober TODAY.

    Are you happy for me?

What can you see from your bedroom window?

My back garden, a wooden bench and a stone wall.

Do you have a favourite souvenir from a holiday?
